Numerical study of attack angle characteristics for integrated hypersonic vehicle

Abstract:The two-dimensional coupled implicit Navier-Stokes equations and standard k-ε viscous models are used to simulate the angle of Stack characteristics of an integrated hypersonic vehicle with a hark head configuration under three kinds of working conditions:inlet cut-off,engine through-flow,and engine ignition.Influence of each component on aero-propulsive performance of the vehicle is discussed. It is concluded that the longitudinal static stability of the vehicle is good, and there is enough lift-to-drag ratio to satisfy the flying requirement of the vehicle. At the same time,it is important to change configurations of engine and upper surface of airframe to improve aero-propulsive performance of the vehicle. 作者: Author: Wei HUANG  Zhen-guo WANG 作者单位: Institute of Aerospace and Material Engineering,National University of Defense Technology,Changsha 410073,P.R.China 期 刊: 应用数学和力学(英文版)   EISCI Journal: APPLIED MATHEMATICS AND MECHANICS 年,卷(期): 2009, 30(6) 分类号: V211 Keywords: integrated hypersonic vehicle    properties of stack angle    component analysis    computer simulation    hark head configuration    aero-propulsive performance    机标分类号: V21 TK1 机标关键词: hypersonic vehicle    integrated    performance    static stability    Navier-Stokes    improve    upper    three    time 基金项目: the Excellent Graduate Student Innovative Project of National University of Defense Technology,Hunan Provincial Innovation Foundation for Postgraduate Numerical study of attack angle characteristics for integrated hypersonic vehicle[期刊论文]  应用数学和力学(英文版) --2009, 30(6)The two-dimensional coupled implicit Navier-Stokes equations and standard k-ε viscous models are used to simulate the angle of Stack characteristics of an integrated hypersonic vehicle with a hark head...
