2017年上海美高双语校园开放日公布
随着美高双语学校的招生日程开展，我们收到了上海乃至全国各地，以及其他国籍的小朋友和家长们的青睐。持续到现在仍有不断的咨询需求，但生源名额有限，本着择优录取的态度，我们也尽量满足广大家庭渴望了解美高学校的心愿。2017年（1月7日）特别开放校园参观日，学校校董事方正先生将详细讲解办学理念，欢迎对美式教育和国际教育无限憧憬的你前来参观、了解，期待与你见面！
Living Word Shanghai is growing larger and larger with students and parents from all over the country becoming interested in the school. We are doing everything in power to make sure that all interested parties can find out what they wish about the school. On January 7th, 2017, Living Word Shanghai will host a special Open House day where the school’s President, Mr. Edward Jan Fang, will speak about the school’s guiding principles and educational vision.
1、我们培养未来拥有世界观的各行各业的领导者
美高双语的目标是把每一位学生培养成具有正确世界观的各行各业的领导者，因此美高双语更重视每一位学生个体的培养，而不是一味的强调学生被动式的学习，因为美高双语一直认为，一位不具备正确的世界观、无法主动管理自己的学习时间、无法接受失败的人是不具备成为行业领导者的必要条件，美高双语秉承着这样的教育理念，在学校塑造这样一个环境氛围，使得每一位毕业生离开美高后，都能被世界一流的大学录取，为成为各行各业的领导者迈出坚定的一大步。
Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School’s primary goal is to allow each and every one of our students to become a leader in their own right. 2、美高2016年高中毕业生成果
美高学校的`第一批毕业生们已经拿着他们的傲人战绩，前往了世界各地的名校（100%入取美国前100名大学，60%入取美国顶尖前50名大学。学生将就读于美国伯克利音乐学院）
As a result, Living Word Shanghai’s first batch of graduates were all accepted into top-100 ranked Universities, with over 60% being accepted into top-50 ranked Universities.
3、1-12年级一贯制教育体系
高双语是闵行区教育局批准的9年一贯制学校。其中9~12年级是走纯美国教育的体系。美高双语学校是一所九年一贯制民办学校，为学生提供连贯可持续的学习环境和升学机会。1至12年级的课程教育无缝衔接，让有志于留学的学生能够不出国门即可享受国际化教育，通过个性化定制升学轨道圆梦世界顶尖名校。
Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School has received approval from the Education Bureau of Minhang District to provide education to students from 1st to 9th grade; Our 9th to 12th grade program is a pure American-style education. Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School provides a sustainable learning environment and educational opportunities for its students. Seamless education from 1st to 12th grade, allowing students interested in studying abroad the same experience from home.
4、美高小学课程
美高双语的小初部课程，以上海市二期课改教材为纲要，紧密结合美国补充教材和教学方法，使学生喜欢学习爱学习、能融入团体、建立基本的逻辑思维能力。
Living Word Shanghai Bilingual School Primary and Middle School curriculum is very closely integrated with Shanghai's Second-Phase Curriculum Reform Program. Drawing on the knowledge points of foreign textbooks, students are able to develop strong critical thinking abilities.
5、美高初中课程体系
美高双语的小初部课程，紧密结合二期课改的知识点，结合国外教育理念，使学生养成主动学习能力习惯、团队合作和领导力、正确判断周遭事物的能力。

6、美高高中课程体系
美高高中课程提供原版的美国课程，选用走班制教学、在学校开设了106门选修课程和16门AP课程。立志将美高毕业的学生养成正确人生观、团队合作能力、参与新事物研究的能力。（AP是AdvancedPlacement的缩写，中文一般翻译为美国大学先修课程、美国大学预修课程。）
Living Word Shanghai's high school curriculum is just the same as one you would find in America, with 106 courses and 16 AP level courses. We teach all our students to graduate with excellent interpersonal skills, teamworking ability, and critical thinking skills. (AP, meaning Advanced Placement, are courses at a level in-line with university course content and material.)
7、荣获美国国家中学生荣誉生会
美高双语2016年有六位学生荣获美国百年历史的美国国家中学生荣誉，也是亚洲唯一一所荣获国际学校。
8、一支优秀的管理及师资团队
曾担任过宋庆龄国际学校校长的——江东霞女士担任我校总校长。
曾任古北第二中学校长上海市教学督查委员会——孟永根担任我校初中部校长。
美国威斯康星州箴言学校校长——DAVE先生担任美高美方校长。
Ms.Jiang Dongxia previously served as Principal of the Soong Qing Ling InternationalSchool. Ms. Jiang currently serves as our Primary School Principal.
Mr.Meng Yonggen previously worked as a Principal of No. 2 Gubei Middle School aswell as a member of the Shanghai Education Inspection Committee.
