　　Table manners in China Different country have different table manners.The western country is different from eastern country,such as China and France.In China,old people eat first.We aren’t supposed to talk aloud while we are eating.If you don’t want to eat next,you are supposed to say I’m full. And you aren’t supposed to eat fruit at once.Chinese eat food with chopsticks.It is rude if you point at someone with your chopsticks.All of them will be helpful to you.It can make you a polite person.So we must know more about the manners around the world.

　　I'm sorry to tell you that I'm not feeling well today. I've had a headache and a cough. I didn't sleep well last night. I went to see the doctor this morning.

　　The doctor told me I had caught a cold, and I should stay in bed for two days. So I'm afraid I can't go to school today and tomorrow.

　　I hope I'll be all right and go back to school the day after tomorrow.

　　今天，一年一度的英语节在培德楼上的六楼报告大厅如火如荼的举行了。

　　为了今天，我以前可是大下功夫，又是写稿子，又是让妈妈帮我认识新单词，又是自己背稿子，终于等到了今天。

　　我自信满满的走进大厅。妈呀！吓死我了！这里居然聚集着这么多人。有五年级学生、老师、各年级的英语老师。嗯？还有两个老外！看来，我今天得好好表现了，为自己、为班级而争光。

　　比赛开始了，我是28号，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一个调皮的小精灵一样，跳得七上八下的——好紧张。该我了，我走上台，感到腿有点发软，好像马上就要瘫在地上了一样；手有一点发颤，好像马上就要把话筒掉在地上一样。当我看见两位老外在默默地为我鼓掌时，我便又鼓起勇气，继续往下背。我的腿不再发软了，我的'手也不再发颤了，我的精神又饱满起来。

　　因为我有一点拘谨，所以只得了二等奖。我很失望，因为我原来可以得到更高的分数，但我依然很开心，因为我体验到了我以前从来没有体验过的感受，还受到了一个使我一生受益的启发：只要有付出，就一定有回报。

　　英语是世界通用的语言，所以我一定要学好英语。长大为祖国增光添彩。
