当地时间11月17日上午，数以百万计的红色蝗虫出现在埃及首都开罗上空，引起开罗市民和政府的高度关注。据悉，这是开罗市中心地区首次遭遇如此大规模的蝗虫入侵。外电报道如下：Swarms of locusts obscure the Giza pyramids near Cairo November 17, 2004.
