Ads against women
TV commercials tend to discriminate against women. Females usually are depicted as housewives, shoppers or victims while males are portrayed as successful businessmen. Women often turn up at home cheerfully doing chores or relaxing while men usually are seen in their offices checking data or designing new systems. Most advertisements confine women to their traditional social roles, such as baby-sitter and homemaker. Why can't ad makers change the prototype and create something new?
