　　Nowadays, star-worshiping is popular among teenagers, especially many university students.

　　Why? When it comes to the symptoms of worshiping a star, the main factor I’d like to mention is imitation. With a blind love for their idols, teenagers firmly believe that their choices are the best. As a result, the stars’ clothes, hairstyles and hobbies, as well as their behaviors in public, are closely observed or followed, though, to some extent, they may be considered improper or even ridiculous.

　　In my opinion, having idols is not a bad thing. However, we should make it clear who are the real “heroes”. Further, dorm life is a crash course in interpersonal skills because you need to learn how to get along with your roommates as well as people in your hallway.

Chances are that some roommates could be worse than others, making your dorm life somewhat difficult, indeed. For another, constant companionship implies lack of privacy which you usually enjoy at home. Moreover, even when you like to meet people, it could so happen that they are not all going to be people you want to meet. Altogether, money permitted, college life could not possibly be fun enough without the experience of living away from home. Such experience, even though not entirely agreeable, may be of use to a student soon to become a mature member of the community. In fact, if dorm life appears to you like freedom from parental control, you would soon realize that it is fun to be free, at least for a while.

　　the first step is never a fast step. after hunting for quite a while, we set our target on a young man who was enjoying his cigarette at a bus stop. embracing the philosophy of "nothing ventured, nothing gained", we summoned up all our courage,walked up and asked, "sir, would you please not smoke in public places?" "it is none of your business! why are you so busily engaged in such things? go and mind your own eams!" he was great, i believed, for he was able to drag on his cigarette while at the same time not giving his tongue a break. and i further found out that for this man, such words as "good for your health" or "good for common courtesy" had long lost their appeal. maybe such kind of situation should call for some other policy. i managed a smile, blended with sweet words and tried to dilute his resistance. and when we put the sticker on his clothes, he was lingering over the joy of having done us "a big favor."
