　　To be successful in a job interview or in almost any interview situation, the applicants hould demonstrate certain personal and professional qualities.

　　Most likely, the first and often a lasting impression of a person is determined by the clothes he wears. The job applicant should take care to appear well-groomed and modestly dressed, avoiding the extremes of too pompous or too casual attire .

　　Besides care for personal appearance, he should pay close attention to his manner of speaking, which should be neither ostentatious nor familiar but rather straight forward, grammatically accurate, and in a friendly way.

　　In addition, he should be prepared to talk knowledgeably about the requirements of the position, for which he is applying in relation to his own professional experience and interests.

　　And finally, the really impressive applicant must convey a sense of self-confidence and enthusiasm for work, as these are factors all interviewers value highly.

　　also, students go to colleges and universities to have new experiences. this often means having the opportunity to make people different from those in their hometowns. for most students, going to college is the first time they’ve been away from home by themselves. in addition, this is the first time they’ve had to make decisions on their own. making these decisions increases their knowledge of themselves.

　　besides looking for self-knowledge, people also attend a university or college to expand their knowledge in subjects they find interesting. for many, this will be their last chance for a long time to learn about something that doesn’t relate to their career.

　　Why I Go to College?

　　When I was a little girl, I always wanted to go to college. Now I am a freshman of a key university. I have asked myself the same question so many times：Why I go to college? You may say: you go to college just because you want to have a good job after graduation. Well, why I come to college is not for one single reason, but for many.

　　The major reason is that I need to further my education and know more about the outside world. In high school, I was always feeling not enough to get knowledge from the textbooks and I didn’t have enough time to travel to see the outside world. But in the college, I have abundant time to read the books I’m interested in and travel to different places to broaden my horizon.

　　Moreover, college is such an ideal place to make new friends who come from different places and I can learn about the different culture. As I am a typically southerner, I find there are many differences between north and south after I come to college, such as the way they talk, and the food they used to eat. Before I went to college, I admit I never pay attention to these. And I don’t want to be a person with a tunnel vision; I want to make more friends during the four years.

　　Last but not least, staying the university can give me enough time to prepare when I step into the society, I can do some part-time job and get myself ready. With the working experience and degree, I can find an ideal job. I know it is going to be harder when I graduate from college, but I’m not afraid. I’ll spare no efforts to make my dream come true.

　　About my first year in college， my life is mainly made up of two parts， study and practice。As a student， the main task is study。 In order to gain a high GPA， I have to get used to the college life style and begin a new pursue in study。 It is the learning method that shows off most of the differences between senior study and college study。！ have a roommate who goes out to have lessons in the morning and comes back in the evening after the self—study classroom is closed。 The peers＇ behaviors make me feel under pressure。 In university， one% view of life is integrally formed and strengthened。 I begin to program my future plan and realize that study itself is an affair for me。 The more courses I learn by heart， the more maturity I get。 University education ensures students of better jobs。I usually reckon that time consuming on study is worthwhile as it bears such important events as occupation， career and responsibility。
