The Ant and the Dove
Good morning, everyone! Today, Id like to tell you a story called "The Ant and the Dove".
One hot summer day, an ant was searching for some water. After walking around for some time, she came to a river. To reach the river, she had to climb up a blade of grass. While trying to drink the water, she slipped and fell into the river.
The ant was in big trouble. She was struggling hard to keep herself afloat, but she was getting tired quickly. Just when she thought all was lost, a dove sitting on a nearby tree saw her. The dove felt sorry for the ant. She plucked a leaf from the tree and dropped it into the river near the ant. The ant climbed onto the leaf and was saved.
A few days later, the ant saw a hunter aiming his gun at the dove. She knew she had to do something to save the dove. The ant quickly ran up the hunters leg and bit him hard. The hunter cried out in pain and dropped his gun. The noise startled the dove, and she flew away to safety.
This story teaches us that no act of kindness is too small, and kindness always comes back around. We should always be ready to help others, as we never know when we might need their help in return.
Thank you!

The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Dear friends,
Today, I will share with you a well - known story, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".
Once upon a time, there was a young shepherd boy. He was bored while watching his sheep on the hillside, so he decided to play a trick. He shouted at the top of his lungs, "Wolf! Wolf! A wolf is attacking the sheep!" The villagers, hearing his cries, rushed out of their houses with their tools to help. But when they arrived, they saw no wolf. The boy laughed at them, "Ha - ha! I was just kidding." The villagers were very angry and went back home.
A few days later, the boy played the same trick again. The villagers came running once more, only to be fooled again. They warned the boy not to do it anymore.
Then, one day, a real wolf came. The boy was terrified. He cried out, "Wolf! Wolf! Please help!" But this time, no one came. The villagers thought he was playing another trick. As a result, the wolf ate many of the boys sheep.
This story tells us that honesty is very important. If we lie all the time, no one will believe us when we are in real trouble. So, always tell the truth.
Thank you!

后来,有一天,一只真正的狼来了。男孩吓坏了。他大喊:“狼来了!狼来了!救命啊!” 但这一次,没有人来。村民们以为他又在恶作剧。结果,狼吃掉了男孩的许多羊。

The Ugly Duckling
Ladies and gentlemen,
Now, let me tell you the story of "The Ugly Duckling".
In a beautiful farmyard, a mother duck was waiting for her eggs to hatch. One by one, the little ducklings came out of their eggs, but one egg took a long time to break. Finally, a big and ugly duckling appeared.
The other ducklings made fun of him. They said, "You are so ugly! You dont look like us at all." Even the mother duck began to wonder if he was really her baby. The poor ugly duckling felt very sad and lonely. He left the farmyard and started to wander.
During his journey, he faced a lot of difficulties. He was chased by dogs and bullied by other animals. But the ugly duckling didnt give up.
As winter passed and spring came, the ugly duckling grew bigger. One day, he saw some beautiful swans in a lake. He was so envious that he wished he could be like them. He swam towards them, expecting to be chased away again. But to his surprise, when the swans saw him, they welcomed him. He looked at his reflection in the water and realized that he had grown into a beautiful swan himself.
This story shows us that we should never judge others by their appearance. Everyone has their own beauty and potential. No matter how hard life gets, we should hold on to our dreams and believe in ourselves.

The Little Match Girl
Dear audience,
Today, I want to tell you a touching story, "The Little Match Girl".
It was a cold and snowy New Years Eve. A poor little girl was walking barefoot on the street, selling matches. Her feet were red and swollen with cold. She had been trying to sell matches all day, but no one had bought any from her.
She was so cold and hungry that she decided to take shelter in a corner. She lit a match to warm herself. In the warm light of the match, she saw a wonderful vision. She seemed to see a big, warm stove in front of her. But when the match went out, the stove disappeared.
She lit another match. This time, she saw a table filled with delicious food. There was a roast goose, and it even seemed to be walking towards her. But again, when the match burned out, the beautiful vision vanished.
She lit a third match. This time, she saw her dear grandmother, who had passed away. Her grandmother looked so kind and loving. The little girl was so happy to see her. She lit more and more matches to keep the vision of her grandmother with her.
Finally, in the early morning of the New Year, people found the little girl in the corner. She was frozen to death, but there was a smile on her face.
This story makes us realize how lucky we are. We should cherish what we have and be kind to those in need.

The Tortoise and the Hare
Good afternoon, everyone!
Im going to tell you the story of "The Tortoise and the Hare".
One day, a hare met a tortoise on the road. The hare, who was very proud of his speed, laughed at the tortoise and said, "You are so slow! I can run much faster than you." The tortoise replied calmly, "Well, lets have a race and see who can reach the finish line first." The hare agreed immediately, thinking it would be an easy win.
The race began. The hare quickly ran ahead, leaving the tortoise far behind. After running for a while, the hare looked back and couldnt even see the tortoise. He thought, "I have so much of a lead. I can take a little nap and still win." So, he lay down under a tree and soon fell asleep.
Meanwhile, the tortoise kept walking steadily. He didnt stop or rest. He just kept moving forward, step by step.
When the hare woke up, he was shocked to see that the tortoise was almost at the finish line. He tried his best to run as fast as he could, but it was too late. The tortoise crossed the finish line first and won the race.
This story teaches us that slow and steady wins the race. No matter how talented we are, if we are lazy and overconfident, we may lose to those who work hard and persevere.

The Little Red Hen
In a cozy barnyard, there lived a little red hen with her chicks. One day, while scratching around in the yard, she found a grain of wheat. She thought, "If I plant this wheat, I can make some delicious bread."
She asked the other animals in the barnyard, "Who will help me plant this wheat?" The lazy dog said, "I wont." The sleepy cat meowed, "Not me." And the duck just quacked and swam away. So, the little red hen planted the wheat all by herself.
As the wheat grew, it needed to be watered and cared for. Again, the little red hen asked for help, but the dog, cat, and duck refused. So, she took care of the wheat alone.
When the wheat was ripe, she asked, "Who will help me harvest the wheat?" Once more, the other animals said no. So, the little red hen harvested the wheat by herself.
Then, she had to take the wheat to the mill to be ground into flour. She asked for help, but no one offered. So, she did it herself.
Finally, she was ready to make the bread. She asked, "Who will help me bake the bread?" And again, the others said no. So, she baked the bread by herself.
When the delicious smell of the freshly baked bread filled the barnyard, the dog, cat, and duck came running. They asked, "Can we have some bread?" The little red hen replied, "No, you didnt help me at all. You cant have any of my bread."
The moral of the story is: You reap what you sow.
