　　As a Chinese song goes, a child without mother lives like a grass. In my class there is such a group: their parents have poured into cities to make a living, with diligence and wisdom to raise a family, for economic development and social stability they have contributed. But their children are left in the rural homes, crying for the accompany of parents and becoming a vulnerable group. The society names them as left-behind children.

　　　　With the long-term custody of grandparents or even of others, the feeling of being abandoned severely attacks the left-behind children. As time goes by, they become problem students. Their naughty makes us rack our brains , raises our anxiety and some times even draws us crazy. In face of these little children who are the future of the rural area, what shall we do? Shall we make continuous efforts to help them or just let them go? The answer is very important. With our love and care, they may grow up to play a useful role in building their hometown; being abandoned, they will withdraw like little plants in the dry season. At the very thoughts of the children’s future, the prosperity of our country and the responsibilities of teachers, we feel we must do everything possible to help them without any delay

　　　　Thinking about left-behind children, a boy will immediately emerge in my eyes, that is Luo Liang, a quite handsome boy. But only three minutes, your impression on this child will be overthrown. You can hardly find a more naughty boy. Look , it is he that is rushing through the corridor after the bell stops; it is he that is dancing on the window like a duck. All of the teachers say it is a headache to see this child. To be frankly, when he makes waves in class, I am also annoyed. But love grants me expectation. I hope he could turn into a good student. In my class, whenever I notice he could say a single English sentence I will try to ask him a question and praise him immediately. Whenever I notice he is reading the new words, I will ask him to read them to me after class. On the teacher’s day, he sent me a bunch of wild flowers. When he saw the flowers in a beautiful bottle on my table, big smile rouse on his face. He knows I make no difference between him and other children. He reads love and expectations in my eyes. I know, he cares about my praises, my smile, my eye contacts even my scolding. LuoLiang teaches me, although the left-behind children are naughty, they do expect our love and care. go121.cn

　　　　We may ask, there are so many left-behind students, how can we focus so much energy on each child? This makes me think about a little story that is known to us all. After a storm, innumerable little fish were trapped on the bench as a result of an ebb-tide. Exposed in the sunshine they would be dried up soon. A little boy picked up the fish one by one and threw them back to the sea A man could not help asking the little boy:" there are so many fish that it is impossible to save them all. Who cares about your efforts?" Without even raising his head, the little boy continued throwing the little fish and said:" this little fish does." I always bear the fish in my mind. The fish cares. To us, a left-behind child is just like a fish on the bench, one among thousands. But to a family he is the whole expectation.

　　　　The crops could be planted again after being destroyed; spring returns the next year; but the childhood never returns. The density of the left behind children needs our help and love. Please unit our efforts to take care of the left behind children. Please believe that our love will make them a different tomorrow
