2015考研英语基础语法：宾语从句
考研英语中宾语从句出现频率特别高，但很多语法基础不扎实的同学还是不太能识别出这类从句。在本文将为大家讲解定语从句的基本用法。
宾语从句：属于名词性从句，在整个复合句中作宾语的从句，主要做动词宾语、介词宾语和形容词宾语。
引导词包括：
1、连接代词——what， who， whatever， whoever， whom（连接代词有词义，在从句中可以做主语、表语、宾语）
2、连接副词——when， where， why， how， whenever， wherever， however（连接副词有词义，在从句中做状语）
3、that——无词义，只起连接作用，引导表示陈述句的宾语从句。
If/whether， whether…or not——引导表示“是否”的一般疑问句的宾语从句。
例句：Priestly explains how the deep blue color of the assistant‘s sweater descended over the years from fashion shows to department stores and to
the bargain bin in which the poor girl doubtless found her garment. 普瑞斯特利向她解释，她穿的毛衫的那种蓝色是如何流行、过时的，即从最初的高级时装秀
场到服装卖场，最后又到特价商品区——无疑她是在特价商品区买到的这件衣服。
在句中的位置：
1、动词后面。
e.g. By watching what people search for， click on and say online， companies can aim “behavioral” ads at those most likely to buy. 企业通过观察人们搜索、浏览的内容已经在网上发表的言论，可以对那些潜在消费群体投射行为广告。
2、介词后面。
e.g. The new book is about how we could be happier in our daily life.（这本新书是关于我们在日常生活中如何能更幸福的。）
3、形容词后面
常见的引导宾语从句的形容词有：sorry， happy， glad， satisfied， surprised， afraid， certain， sure等。
e.g. I am sorry that I could not attend the meeting this afternoon. （很抱歉，我无法参加今天下午的会议了。）
注意事项：
1、在下列情况中，if和whether不能互换，一般只能用whether.
（1）介词后面引导宾语从句表示“是否”，用whether；
e.g. I need you to find out whether this option is better than the other. （我需要你找出这个选择是否比另一个要好。）
（2）不定式前面只能用whether；
e.g. I haven‘t decide whether to stay here yet. （我还没决定是否留在这儿。）
（3）whether可以用在“whether…or not”句型中，而“if”则无此用法。
2、that引导宾语从句无实际意义，常常可以省略。但在下列情况中that不能省略：
（1）介词后面的宾语从句中“that”不能省略；
（2） and连接两个或两个以上的.并列宾语从句，从句中的that不能省略；
（3） 在“动词+it+宾语补足语+宾语从句”的结构中，引导宾语从句的“that”不能省略。“it”在此结构中作形式宾语，句子真正的宾语是后面的宾语从句。
e.g. I think it impossible that he could finish reading the book in three days. （我认为他不可能在3天之内读完这本书。）
