关于青春的英语演讲稿1

The lives of most men are determined by their enviroment. They accept thecircumstances amid which fate has thrown them not only resignation but even withgood will. They are like streetcars running contendedly on their rails and theydespise the sprightly flitter that dashes in and out of the traffic and speedsso jauntily across the open country .I respct them; they are good citizens, goodhusbands, and good fathers ,and of course somebody has to pay the taxes; but I donot find them exciting. I am fasinated by the men, few enough in all conscience, who take life in their own hands and seem to mould it in to their own liking. It may be that we have no such thing as free will, but at all events, we havethe illusion of it. At a cross-road it does seem to us that we might go eitherto the right or to the left and ,the choice once made, it is difficult to seethat the whole course of the world's history obliged us to take the turning wedid.

What are you passionate about? Dare to express and expand that passion in everything you do. Stand back and look at your life from a distance, as an objective

observer. What you'll see is a pattern, a common thread running through all the various aspects of all that you have done. That common thread is connected to a passion living deep inside of

you. The more fully you allow that passion to flow from you, the more richness your life will know. The more readily you admit and express that passion to yourself and to the world, the more fulfilling your moments will be. Keeping it hidden and suppressed will only lead to pain and regret. There is a passion in you that is constantly pushing to see the light of day. Let it out and let it grow. That passion is a unique and precious gift

When you experience a setback, it may seem natural to rering your expectations. Yet that is not the only choice you have.Just imagine what would happen if you did exactly the opposite. Just imagine what would happen if you decided to raise your expectations in response to each setback. With such a strategy, negative momentum never has a chance to take hold. For even the disappointments serve to push you forward Your current expectations have much more power and influence than anything that has occurred in your past. For it is your current expectations that give direction to your energy and your actions. Choose to make that direction a positive, valuable, creative one. From even the most burdensome difficulty, you can begin to move forward immediately. Base your expectations on your most treasured dreams and your most profound purpose, rather than on life's random events or circumstances. And nothing will be able to hold you back for long.

A Chief Executive officer is not necessarily someone who has had a lot offormal training. So, I doubt moreschooling would help you climb up that ladder ofsuccess. Maybe you should try and change your work habits or character. You cannotjust sit around in an organization waiting for people to promote you. You haveto let people know you are ambitious and waiting for biggerand more rewardingchallenges. You should tell your supervisor or boss that you want to be promotedand rise up that management ladder. A good manager will accept, even respect thefact that you wish for career development. If this is not the case, you shouldfind a new job or new company that will allow you to grow. You must start out small. Hoping that one day you will suddenly becomedirector of a company is doubtful. Getting ready for a slow ascent is morelikely. Accept it, and commit yourself, realizing that it may be alongclimb. You will need some skills to propel you up that ladder of success. You mustbe competent, that is you need to develop skills in many areas, such asmarketing, human resources, public relations and finances.

You must also be a good people person, always cultivating

relationshipswith the people around you.Having “guanxi” is a necessary characteristic of anysuccessful CEO.

“Once upon a time, there was a king who had a daughter as beautiful as a blooming rose. To all the suitors who came to the king's palace to ask for the hand of the princess, the old king assigned three tasks to be accomplished, each next to impossible. One day, into the king's palace came a handsome young prince…" Well, you know the rest. The three tasks may be different in different versions, but the main plot is always the same, with the prince claiming the princess's hand triumphantly. And the ending is always the same, finishing with the line "And they live happily every after." Why aren't we tired of something so fanciful, so unrealistic, and, I would say, so unimaginative? How can a story like that endure generations of repetition`? Because, I think, it is a typical success story. It is highly philosophical and symbolic. By implication, we see a 4-step definition of success: 1 ) a goal to be set. as represented by the beautiful princess; 2 ) challenges to be met, as represented by the three tasks; 3 ) the process of surmounting difficulties, as represented by the ordeals the youth goes through; and 4 ) the reward of success, as represented by the happy marriage. The story not only caters to everyone's inward yearning for success, but also emphasizes the inseparability of the process and the result. The reward of success will be much amplified if the path leading towards it is treacherous, and vice versa. If a person inherits his father's millions and leads an easy life, he is not a successful person even in material terms, because there are no difficulties involved in his achieving affluence. The term "success", to be sure. will not sit still for easy definition. But as I understand it, the true meaning of success entails a combination of both the process and the satisfactory result of an endeavor. To clarify my view, let me give another analogy. If we changed the rules of football, greatly enlarged the goal and sent away David Seaman or any other goal keeper, so that another David, namely David Beckham, could score easily, then scoring would not give him the thrill of accomplishment and the joy that it brings. If we further changed the rules by not allowing Arsenal's defenders to defend, so that Beckham needed only to lift a finger, actually a toe, to score, then there would be no game at all, because the meaning of winning would have disappeared. In accepting the challenge, in surmounting the difficulties and in enduring the hardship, success acquires its value. The sense of attainment varies in proportion to the degree of difficulties on overcomes. The concept of success is not constant but relative because the nature of difficulty is also relative. Something you do effortlessly might pose a great difficulty for a handicapped person. In acquiring the ability to do the same as you can, he or she achieve success. That's why we greatly admire Stephen Hawking, because, though confined to a wheel chair, he has contributed greatly to the field of science. I myself, a rather shy person by nature who easily suffer from stage fright, had to pluck up great courage to take part in a speech contest like this. I could have stayed away and had an easy time of it by not entering the university level contest. But I chose to accept the challenge and to face the difficulties. Now here I am. If I come out first, it will be a great success for me. If I come out last-I hope this will not be the case-but if I come out last, I will not call my attempt a failure, but will also celebrate it as a true success, because part of my goal is my own character training-to do more assertive, to be brave in face of difficulties. For me, it is a meaningful step forward, small as it is, in the long journey toward the final success in my life, because I have truly gained by participating. Let us return to our handsome young prince and the 4-step definition of success. You my have noticed that the usual worldly criteria of wealth, position and fame were not mentioned as part of the story, but rather, it emphasized the process of overcoming difficulties. The ancient wisdom had already defined the meaning of success, and this is my definition, too. Thank you.

关于青春的英语演讲稿5

When someone looks into your eyes they should see something alive withinyou. Having a dream is like owning a lighthouse1 which directs you on yourjourney. At every turn we come across its mystery. At each new level we become moreof the person we were meant to become. In lonely times, when we pass through astorm of disappointment, we find our faith is unshaken, our strength stillstrong. Believe in your faith. Set the vision before your eyes. Write down yourmost sincere dreams and when the opportunity comes, step into your dream. It maytake one season or more, but the result is the same. Make big dreams and then goout and make them realities. The highest hopes of the dreamer are revealed withevery step taken in their journey to the impossible. For a season we mustprotect the dream so that it can grow quietly on the inside. But if we tenderlycare for our deepest expectations, slowly but surely the dream will become newlife. Dreaming is an act of faith. The light of your expectations will cast offthe shadows of a disbelieving world. God has given us the dreamer as a gift tolight an unbelieving world. Find your treasure within and cherish2 it. Tomorrow is waiting for you totake the first step.
