The "Sherlock" star wed pregnant fiancee Sophie Hunter on Valentine's Day in St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Mottistone, which is on the Isle of Wight in England, reports People. They celebrated after the wedding at Mottistone Manor, an English estate with a special tie to Hunter, as she is related to the Nicholson family that resides there.

The Isle of Wight County Press reports that Cumberbatch spent the night before his wedding at the Royal Yacht Squadron, a prestigious yacht club founded 200 years ago, and that its employees attended to the wedding guests at the reception.

Cumberbatch met Hunter, a theater director, on the set of "Burlesque Fairytales" in 2009 and kept their relationship under wraps for quite a while -- their engagement news came in the form of a newspaper announcement in The Times of London in November 2014. It is the first marriage for both and they are expecting their first child together later this year.
