心态务实海归仍有就业优势

　　Studying overseas is still believed to be a worthy choice because it gives students some comparative advantages in the job market, a recent report showed.

　　最近一份调查显示，出国留学仍被视作“物有所值”，因为归国留学生在就业市场上存在一定优势。

　　According to the 2016 Employment Report on Chinese Students Returning from Overseas, 82.5% of employers were willing to offer preferential benefits, such as better posts and higher starting salaries, to returned students.

　　根据发布的《2016年中国海归就业调查报告》显示，82.5%的雇主愿意给予海归包括更好岗位、更高起薪在内的倾斜性待遇。

　　The survey lasted from April to June and polled more than 1,000 returned students.

　　该调查从四月开始到六月结束，共调查了超过1000名归国留学生。

　　Yu Zhongqiu, president of Haiwei Career, said that in the 21st century, where English, computer skills and driving are deemed as "three musts", overseas experience will help job hunters stand out.

　　海威时代总裁俞仲秋表示，在21世纪，英语、计算机技能以及驾驶被认为是“三个必须”，而海外经历会帮助求职者脱颖而出。

　　But the report also showed that more than 80% of those who returned eventually landed a job that is not connected with their major.

　　但报告也显示，超过八成的海归最终获得的岗位和他们所学的专业不相关。

　　One-fourth had a starting monthly salary of less than RMB5,000 and only one in three expressed contentment with their job.

　　1/4的海归起薪在每月5000元以下，只有1/3的海归表示对自己的工作满意。

　　Lin Guoyu, CEO of College Daily, said China has entered an era in which studying abroad is no longer rare. Students should be fully prepared for the cold shoulder they may encounter after coming back.
