Taking a job as soon as possible after having just completed a diploma course will be beneficial to my friend as he needs the working experience to complement his skills learnt from the course.Theories learnt from the course can be put into practice by my friend at work.This will enrich his knowledge of the field and be better equipped to handle the degree course later in the same field.Consequently,he becomes a better worker and can enhance his career more.Also,this will give him a golden opportunity to assess his interest in this field.
Should he be interested,then he can continue to further his studies with confidence when the chance comes.If not,then he can try another field of study.The cost to study for a degree in a course is not cheap.Hence,by working first in the field,he will make a smarter choice in his decision.He will not waste his time and money.
Working too allows him to save up money to be ready for a degree course which can be quite expensive.Therefore,I strongly suggest my friend to take up a job as soon as possible.
