For most people， they will choose to travel during holiday because they want to relieve themselves from the high pressure of work. However， it happens quite often that people often ran into traffic jams on the way to travel. Some people think that we can relax ourselves by traveling no matter of how many people there. Some people would rather to stay in home than going out to travel because they think there are too many people swarm into the scenic spots. In my point of view， I would rather to stay indoors rather than going out to travel. Reasons are listed below.
Firstly， during holiday， so many people swarm into the travel spots that we can’t enjoy ourselves to the full. For most people， they want to travel because during holiday， they can have several days to relieve themselves by traveling. However， so many people crowd together will make their tour lose the original fun.
Secondly， during holiday， price will be rising drastically. It is known to all that you need to spend much more to buy things or taking bus or any other transportation since many retailers will raise goods’ price during this holiday to get fat profits.
All in all， travel during holiday is not a good choice for us since its inconvenience in traveling among a huge crowd of people and also the dramatically high price for goods and transportations will let us pay extra money.

The Spring Festival
The Spring Festival，Chinese New Year，is the most important festival for all of us. All family members get together on New YearEve to have a big meal.At the same time，everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly. We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it is！
On the first early moring of one year，many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.
The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days，we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time，children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents，uncles，aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.
So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.
Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival？
Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China. Christmas cards become popular with students. People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts. A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on. Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing to youngsters. Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival.
This worry is fairly unnecessary. Why ？One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians，college students and joint—ventureworkers. Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exoticfestival. By contrast，the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.
I think，it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West，a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China. For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever.
My plan of next year
A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.
Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.
But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it.

We found that most of the other passengers were friendly and interesting, but there was one man, a Mr. James, who irritated and annoyed us. Whatever subject we talked about, it seemed that he was an expert at it. He had, apparently, read more books, visited more countries and studied more languages, than anyone else had. After a few days, we ate our meals in silence, because nobody wanted to begin a conversation that would soon be taken over by this man. Then my wife had an idea. She suggested that we might think of an unusual subject, look it up in an encyclopedia and then talk about it at dinner. If it were an unusual subject, Mr. James could not possibly know anything about it. The subject we chose was English Agriculture in the Eleventh Century. At dinner that night we discussed this subject with great enthusiasm. Mr. James was silent. We realized we had at last come to find something he knew nothing about.
