　　Summer is the second season in a year. It is between spring and autumn. The sun of summer is the hottest; the water of summer is the warmest; the places of interests in summer are the most crowded throughout the world.

　　Firstly, summer is students' the most favourite season because their longest vacations of the year are in summer. Many of them try to enrich their social and healthy life by participating in a number of interesting outdoor activities, include of camping with friends and family members, going to the beach at public pools, traveling and sightseeing locally and nationally. However, some of them try to make good use of their vacations in gaining their working experiences in summer. Other students may try to improve their academic performance by going to their summer schools.

　　Secondly, summer is a pleasant season for all kinds of cold foods and juicy fruits. Ice cream is our all time favourite dessert. Yeh, I love ice cream so much. I have to eat some ice cream almost everyday in summer. There are a lot of fresh fruits selling everywhere. Watermelon is proudly rated to be the most demanding fruit in the season. All kinds of iced drinks are greatly demanded in summer.

　　Thirdly, summer is a hot season for trendy fashion. You'll see many sexy and curvy babes in your neighbourhood, on the beach, shopping malls, everywhere in your eyes. Hehe. All of my girlfriends and I like to wear as less as we wish in the summer. I like to wear shorts and t-shirts all the time. Don't forget to carrry your sunglasses and put on sun tan lotions before going outdoor.

　　All in all, I love summer very much! You should start practicing your English from now on. As a 15 years old boy, I am more than willing to practice my English with every opportunity which I have come across. Last and certainly not least, I am very happy to help you with this work. 　　Located in Miyun County northeast of Beijing, the Jinshanling division of the Great Wall, like the Simatai division, belongs to the Gubeikou section of the colossal defence barrier.

We usually get a mark tick for right answer and get a cross for wrong, but things has been changed, educator use “o” for “x”, which makes the correcting more gentle. As to this new type correcting, there is no consensus agreement among people.

　　现在，校园里出现一种新型的作业批改方式成为了人们讨论的热点。我们通常是做对打勾做错打叉，但现在改了，教育学家用o代替x，这让种方式更加柔和一点。对于这种新方式，人们的看法不一。

　　People who agree with this new style homework correcting hold the views that our educational method should be gentle. The child’s mind is not mature enough, teachers should choose a more acceptable way when they are correcting student’s homework. Such as an “o” is softer than an “x”. Because in our mind, “x” represent absolutely wrong, on contrary, an “o” means “you should think twice, there is a better answer waiting for you to find out”. It could lead on a student to correct his answer without hurting his feels.

　　同意这种新方式的.人认为我们的教育模式应该温和一些。孩子的心智还不够成熟，老师应该选更加容易让人接受的方式去批改学生的作业。例如o就比x温和一些。因为在我们的心目中，x代表了绝对的错误，相反，o意味着“你应该三思，还有更好的答案”。这能在不伤害孩子的感情之下让他改正错误。

　　However, some people think that if we always use a gentle way to teach students, how could we develop the student’s ability to face the error and frustration. There is a reason for educator use “x” for wrong answer, students should have the courage to face the error that they made, and they should remember why they do it wrong.

　　然而，有些人认为如果我们总是用柔和的方式去教育学生，那我们怎么培养他们面对错误和挫折的能力？教育学家用x批改错误的答案是有理由的，学生应该有勇气去面对他们犯下的错误，还有他们应当记住为什么他们会做错。

　　Weighing up these two arguments, I prefer the former one. I think once student has accepted their error, they will voluntarily to correct. Otherwise, students see an “x” and their defensive mechanisms automatically come up.

　　权衡以上两种观点，我倾向于前者。我认为一旦学生接受了自己的错误，他们就会自愿地改正。否则，学生一看到x就会自然而然地产生一种抵触心理。
