　　端午节是为了纪念中国伟大的爱国诗人屈原，是农历五月初五。

　　端午节有吃粽子和赛龙舟的习俗。粽子是一种用竹叶或芦苇叶包成棱形的`状的饭团子。我们将艾蒿放在门上辟邪，艾蒿还有驱除蚊虫的作用。

　　端午节给儿童缠七色线，一直要戴到节后第一次下雨才解下来扔在雨水里。

　　The festival is to commemorate a great patriotic poet of China—— Qu Yuan. It falls on the fifth day of the fifth month in lunar calendar.
