　　Since I was a little child, I had a dream that I wanted to be a doctor. When I was little, I watched many TV series and movies about doctors. I thought they were so great. Therefore, I made up my mind to be a doctor. In my opinion, doctor is the people who can help patience get out of sickness and pain.I want to be the person who can help others. However, being a doctor needs so much professional knowledge and there is a long way to go. So I have to try my best on my study and go to a good college.

　　其实从我还是个小孩开始，我就梦想着成为一名医生。当我还小的时候，我看很多关于医生的电视剧和电影。我认为医生很伟大。因此，我下定决心要成为一名医生。在我看来，医生是可以帮助病人走出疾病和痛苦的人。我想成为可以帮助他人的'人。但是，成为医生需要很多的专业知识，还有很长一段路要走。所以我必须努力学习，考上一个好大学。

　　When I was anaughtyboy, may be because of theinfluenceof the film "Xiao Bing Zhang Ga", my dream was to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga. I thought if I was a soldier, I should be able to swim, dive and climb trees as he did. It seemed to be very wonderful. So I began to learn swimming, diving and climbing trees. I practiced every day and finally I could do them well. But when I entered junior high school and had themilitarytraining. I suddenly found that being a soldier was very difficult and I wasn't strong enough tobearit. I had to give my dream up.

　　当我还是一个顽皮的孩子的时候，也许是受到电影《小兵张嘎》的影响，我梦想着成为一名像张嘎那样的军人。我想如果我是一名军人，那我就会像他那样会游泳、潜水、爬树。那样该多好啊。所以我开始学习游泳、跳水、爬树。我每天都练习，终于我做到了。后来，我升初中的时候，参加了军训。我突然发现当军人是非常困难的，我还不够强大到能适应。我不得不放弃我的梦想。

　　But I wasn'tdiscouraged, and I had a newaim, which was to be a postman, or rather to be a newspaper boy. As a newspaper boy. 　　但是，我还是没有泄气，我有了一个新的目标，就是当一名邮差，哪怕是一个报童也可以。如果我成为一个报童，我可以骑车在街道上飞驰把报纸扔在每一户门廊前。这是件多么酷的事。于是，我开始学起了骑车。经过每天的.练习，我可以骑得很快了。但令我失望的是，我想要的那份工作只有西方国家才有，而中国是没有的，因为中国家庭是没有门廊的。而中国的邮差不得不将一摞很厚的报纸从非常窄的口子投进很小的邮箱里。这样的工作与我的想象天差地别。所以我的梦想再一次破灭。

　　Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreams haven't come true yet. But I think it doesn't matter, because if you have a dream, you'll make many efforts to realize it. This course is really important. If I hadn't dreamt of being a soldier or a newspaper boy. I wouldn't have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a bicycle. Even if our dream can't come true, you'll learn much from the efforts you have made. So what I want to tell you is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control our lives. It is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful.
