　　“叶是真的绿吗？花是真的香吗？我的英语是真的差吗？”这是我每天都要问自己的问题。我身为一名班长，其它哪科都不赖，但英语却单单是个例外。

　　记得刚上初一时，一次英语课上英语老师让全班写一篇不少于70词的作文，不可以抄袭他人的，限时45分钟。我看着我同桌和班上其他人的笔在纸上刷刷动个不停。再看看自己的纸上只有一个题目和一个简短的自我介绍，想努力想起一个句子，可脑海中却浮现不出任何一个单词。猛地抬头却对上了英语老师那透着对我浓浓失望的眸子，心中猛地一颤，失落感和后悔感在心中弥漫开来。

　　在下节英语课时其他人的作文都发了下来，却没有我的那份。一节课我都在那里神游。下课后老师对我说：“班长，你来下我办公室，”

　　我怀着满心的恐惧敲响了办公室的门，直到我听到里面传来老师的那一声“进”，我才打开门走到英语老师面前。英语老师看着我说：“你其它课都不错，语文数学都没低下过95分，其它课也全部及格，为什么英语就只能考四五十分，是讨厌我吗？”当时办公室所有老师都朝我看过来，我顿时感到一阵羞愧。后来我都忘了我是怀着一，怎样的心情走出的办公室。

　　经过这次以后，我便疯狂的去补英语，可落下的太多了，要从小学三年级开始补，我每天挤出很多的时间来背英文单词和语法，有时候晚上回到宿舍，等宿管查完床，我会偷偷的拿出手电，然后蒙在被子里看英语书，这一看就要到半夜。终于功夫不负有心人，我的英语从一开始的40分50分到了后来的70分，80分。

　　那次之后的期中考试完后，分数下来了，我的英语考了91分，当时我很欣慰的笑了。英语课上是英语老师表扬我说：“你的进步很大，你在班上的努力我都看到了，我想这就是你进步的原因，希望你以后能继续保持下去。”

　　从那次经过老师的'表扬以后，我的学习劲头越来越强，后来英语分数最高时达到了117分，在这段时间里，我不仅学习更好了，管理班级上也更轻松了，因为班上的人都更认可我了，老师也在班会上，公然说我：“班长现在不仅学习好，管理能力也更强了，但就是有点太活跃班级气氛了。”

　　叶是真的绿吗？花是真的香吗？我想答案是肯定的。我要像泥土那样信任叶的绿，像绿叶那样信任花朵的香，向老师信任我，那样信任自己。
