无论是对于学生还是教师而言，英语写作都是一个重点、难点问题。怎样提高学生的写作能力，采取什么样的教学方法才可以有效地促进学生写作能力的提升，是目前我们急需要解决的问题。而过程样类法就是一个非常好的教学法，它是集过程写作法、成果写作法以及样类写作法于一体的综合教学法。过程写作法有利于培养学生的写作技巧，成果写作法有利于教授一些语言知识，样类写作法有利于培养学生的语言交际能力。
一、过程样类法的概述
在教学的过程中应用过程样类法所发挥的作用主要体现在以下四个方面：
（1）有效地激发学生的学习兴趣。在写作之前，一定要积极鼓励学生的写作热情，让他们感觉出有话可写以及有情可抒。开展小组写作的方法，可以让学生意识到教师并不是自己文章的唯一读者，进而促使他们更认真地完成写作任务。与此同时，开展修改讨论活动，让学生在讨论的过程中，发现自己的进步，进而增强写作的信心。
（2）有助于增强学生的思维能力。学生可以依照教师与课本所提供的资料，进行积极的思考，主动的探索，将所获得的资料进一步的加以整理，写出自己的看法，让自己也有机会做一回“发现者”。
（3）有助于提高学生的自主能动性。开展一些写作小组的活动，采取以学生的交流学习为主、教师的指导为辅的教学方式。这样可以激发学生的主观能动性，进行自我认识、自我完善以及互相竞争的机制，在此过程中，提高了学习效果。
（4）有助于学生了解写作过程。因为这样的教学法注重的就是写作过程，这就要求学生一定要掌握文章写作的几个步骤，比如，写前准备、写草稿、修改、完稿等。这一系列的写作步骤可以保证学生的写作过程一直处于正确的轨道之上。
二、高中英语作文课堂中过程样类法的运用
1.写前阶段
写前阶段是写作过程中一个非常重要的环节，这一环节就是为了激活学生掌握的有关知识，激发学生的写作兴趣，提供写作教学的基础。比如，对“开卷考试对于学生而言是否有益”这一话题进行探讨，教师可以让学生围绕这一主题进行讨论，通过讨论的过程，吸引学生的注意力，最后让学生进行实际写作。除此之外，教师还可以为学生提供写作中可能会用到的固定搭配，比如，赞同的说法：think that，be for sth，be in favour of，believe in等，反对的说法：object to，argue with，be opposed to等。
2.打草稿阶段

4.完稿阶段

When I hurried into the classroom, the sky, gray before, was shrouded now by black clouds, darken to twilight, I felt quite stuffy, while it was quite calm, without wind. When Apache Junction High School senior, Kehli Nowak remarked on what she thought about the facts and if she could try going vegetarian one day a week she responded, “After taking into consideration these baffling facts, I would be willing to try vegetarianism one day a week. Giving up just one day of eating meat is worth the benefits it could bring.”

Senior, Nicole Steen said, “I myself have always used bottled water and then recycled it after I was done using it. After considering that bottle water and tap water has little to no differences I will try and “ditch bottled water” and begin using reusable water bottles.”
