12月21日，是我们集体去青少年发展中心参加英语节的日子，恰巧，今天，也正是玛雅人预言的世界末日。今天是大家第一次同台表演，我们都显得特别兴奋。
乘着绵绵细雨，我们来到了青少年发展中心。场外寒风刺骨，场内却异常热闹，一至八年级的同学们正在紧张的排练者，准备给到来的家长们一个最完美的形象。
下午，随着一阵阵激烈的擂鼓声，英语节拉开了帷幕。一年级可爱的小朋友们在这个陌生的舞台尽情展现他们自己的活力。第二个节目是我们年级的`，大家陆续上场，各就各位，拿出自己的活力，尽情表演吧！跳街舞的同学在最前面，超级酷的音乐一奏响，大家就已经使出了全力。街舞过后，Rap的同学亮相。我们的节目让大家耳目一新。
穿着武术服的同学们使出南拳北腿，一位手持长剑的女老师和他们一道登场了。翻跟头……武术动作让台下的家长和同学们都看呆了！
让大家high起来的，是最后的派对圣歌。随着时光的逝去，第十二届英语节汇报演出结束了，但是，我们永远不会忘记那一天，我们第一次在一起表演的日子！

Ah, the New Year is finally here! Mom and dad are going to buy me some festive new clothes again! I'm so happy with my buddies! Dance with joy.
My parents and I asked our parents if we could go shopping with our friends and buy fireworks and firecrackers. While my friends and I were having a good time, all of a sudden, two of my sisters joined in, one after another.
Well, I have a lot of fun with my two sisters and my friends this New Year!
It was a very memorable New Year!

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it.
First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong.
It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
