　　“五一”放假的时候老师给我们布置了一项作业：每人准备一份英语演讲稿，可以是自己的父母、老师、学校，也可以是小动物，或者英语小故事，我准备的是《My family》。“五一”开学以后，老师在班里进行选拔，最后我们班被选中的`同学有魏奕博、刘向还有我，老师又对我们进行了多次辅导。老师要求我们首先要把自己的稿子读熟练并读出感情，不能像背书那样速度那么快，在熟练的同时再背诵。我回家后每天都抽时间练习，一段一段地背熟练，让妈妈帮我听，还自己用手机录音听效果。

　　参加英语演讲比赛的共有来自三至六年级的17名同学，他们看起来都信心十足，那些哥哥姐姐们在台上都表现得非常出色。连主持人也是一名英语和一名汉语主持人。我是三年级的一号，快轮到我时我有点小紧张了，害怕自己说不好，我深伸吸了一口气就上台了，结果我说得还比较流利，没有忘词还发挥出了自己最好的水平。最后有4名同学获得了一等奖，5名同学获得了二等奖，8名同学获得了三等奖。我获得了二等奖。

　　演讲比赛结束了，虽然我这次没有获得一等奖，但我从别人的身上看到了别人的优点和缺点，也看到了自己的优点和缺点，我现在还是一名三年级的学生，还是第一次参加这样的比赛，以后还会有很多机会，这次活动对我来说也锻炼了我的胆量和能力。以后我要好好学习，多多地参加各种活动来锻炼自己。
