　　I am a student from Xinhua Middle School in Chongqing，China. Informed that you have a vacancy for a student to serve as the spokesman for animals, I cannot resist my inner excitement,hoping to seize the opportunity to do something for animals .

　　In my mind，nothing can delight me so much as caring for animals. Wherever I go and whatever I do, I usually keep in mind that animals are angels from the heaven, which bring us endless comfort and pleasure. I have been a panda lover since my childhood. Panda is so lovely that brings fun to people and they are regarded as the treasure of our country. 　　the reason of mine to have keen on penguin is because their uniqueness,unlike with most of other animals,they only live in the South Pole,and unlike with most birds,though they can't fly,yet they can swim in the extreme cold glacier,and the most wonderful part is they can stand like a human and walking,it's very cute when they are walking,Most of the endangered animals are very harmful,yet the penguin looks harmonious as well as entertaining,we even will put them on the movies and cartoons such as "Madagascar" and "Ice Age" and so on.

　　I like penguin,and when i grow up,wish to do research on the south pole to observe penguin and protect them.

　　世上人们各有所爱，有的人喜欢温柔的猫，有的人喜欢可爱的狗，还有的人喜欢……我当然也有自己的爱物，那就是小乌龟。

　　小乌龟来我们家可有很长的'时间了，是在我小时候妈妈买的，那时只有手掌那么大，现在长了不少，像碗口一样。我们俩朝夕相处已经四，五年，我非常喜欢它。

　　小乌龟通身翠绿，像用玉雕出来的一样，极其精致。头的两边长着一对黑豆般的小眼睛，亮晶晶很有神。在它的眼睛后面，长着一对不容易看出来的小耳朵。下面是一张三角形的嘴。小乌龟有尖尖的小尾巴，强壮的四只脚，脚上还长有趾甲，趾间有蹼，划水时可帮上大忙了。它的壳分成一些多边形块，每个小块上都有花纹，放到一起组成了美丽的大花纹，非常坚固。最有特点的是它肚子底下也有花纹，并且是“回”字形的。看上去就像古代时的盾牌，十分别致。

　　平时，小乌龟经常在水底趴着休息，一副懒散的样子。可是要是有一点动静，它就会惊慌失措地将头，四肢和尾巴一起缩进壳内，从上面看就像一个小足球。我拿龟食来喂它时，它也会活动起来。龟食还没入水，它就迫不及待了，头伸出好远，游来游去，当龟食沉入水里，小乌龟就用前脚扒拉一阵，再闻一会儿香味，然后大口大口地嚼起来。吃完饭了，它就开始玩耍，一会儿在水中激起几朵水花，一会儿钻到水底的沙子中去捉迷藏。

　　小乌龟特别将卫生。一天，我因为着急上学，忘了给它换水，回家后急急忙忙冲到鱼缸前，只看见小乌龟在把脏物聚在一起。我乐了，轻轻碰碰它，它歪着头看着我，好像在说：“我正在打扫卫生，你来干什么呢？”真的好有趣啊。
