　　Everyone is happy.The most traditional food is dumplings.The Chinese think the dumplings will bring them good luck in the new year.On the first day of the Chinese New Year,people usually wear new clothes and visit their relatives and friends.

　　They say“Happy New Year”to each other.People often go to the parks or go shopping.

　　Far and away the most important holiday in China Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it as important as Chrtmas to people in the West. The dates for th annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar.

　　So the timing of the holiday varies from lateJanuary to early February. To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year's Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.

　　Spring Festival the most important and popular festival in China.Before Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses. And they go to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to children.People often get together and have a big meal. Among them, I like the Spring Festival most.Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family gathering.Before the festival, people come home no matter where they are.Usually, we have a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. And then families sit together and share their lives or planes.Some will play games or hang out to have some fun.

　　On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone they meet.Children can get lucky money from relatives.In the following days, we will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them.In short, it’s a time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

Grabbing red envelopes on line attracted thousands of people to join in by its fast, brand-new, and thrilling way to entertain. Sadly, what young people who traveled a long dtance to go back home did during the Festival was not to communicate with the elders but to hold their cellphones all day long , just in order to grab red envelopes and get some money. In th case, we can say msing better than seeing.

　　However, the custom of grabbing red envelopes which represents a good wh to the young has lost its real meaning. That to say, what really matters the relationship instead of the money.Essentially speaking, th phenomenon of grabbing red envelopes on line resulted from the heat love between money and the Internet. It’s the carnival of materialm, and nobody won except the Internet.
