关于新TOEFL时间和78月加试的官方消息

众所周知，TOEFL考试的官方即ETS和国内的中国教育考试中心。目前就大家都比较关心的新T时间和78月加考问题，TREES致信ETS和中国考试中心，分别得到如下回复，本人根据回复也进行了一些简单的分析。
在此先容我代表gter的版主，感谢之前在本版发有关消息的各位网友。
ETS的回复如下：
Thank you for your inquiry.
Please be advised that ETS is committed to a successful transition worldwide. In order to maintain test and score integrity and ensure a quality administration for test takers, ETS will introduce the new Internet-Based TOEFL (iBT) test in phases.
The TOEFL iBT test will first be administered in the United States on September 24, 2005. On October 22, the TOEFL iBT test will begin in Canada,France, Germany and Italy. The test will be introduced in the rest of the world in 2006. A complete schedule will be available by November 1, 2005. Please refer to the TOEFL iBT timeline at http://www.ets.org/toefl/nextgen/timeline.html for more details.（这一部分就是ETS官方网站上反复强调的内容，即除明确提到的美国，加拿大，法国，德国，意大利外，其他地方都是从2006年开始新T）
ETS will continue to administer the current computer-based and paper-based versions of the test until the new Internet-based test is implemented. In the United States, CBT will stop in mid-September. In Canada, France, Germany, and Italy, a paper-based test administration will be held on October 15, 2005, and computer-based testing will continue until mid-month. CBT and PBTwill continue in the rest of the world until iBT is introduced in 2006. （这里明确提到，如我国等采取笔试PBT的地区，仍然在2006年正事改机考前持续进行笔考。而且从continue来看，以及ETS 的常规做法，它是不会减少考试从而削弱自己的收入的，所以传统的考试如10月1月等都不应该
