Unit2 My Favourite Season 一、学情分析 在学会准确说出表示四季的单词以及用句型描述自己喜欢的季节的基础上，学生会自然而然地产生表述喜好原因的需求，这正是他们遇到的难题之一。因此，教师应针对该难点，分层次为学生设计完整的语言情境和操练活动，激发并满足学生获取知识的欲望。此外，学生在学习本课之前已经有关于气候、温度、色彩等词汇的知识储备，教师应该帮助学生建立前后知识的关联，构建系统的知识框架。 二、单元内容分析 1．本单元围绕season展开话题，要求学生掌握四个季节的词汇，能用句型表述对季节的喜好，在此基础上简单描述对季节喜好的原因。本单元教学重点在于询问并回答彼此最喜爱的季节并简单阐述原因，难点是Part B部分要求掌握的四会动词和词组。话题与学生生活联系紧密，学习内容与PEP Book4中描述天气的形容词有所呼应。教学时应充分利用这两点，以旧知滚动新知，结合学生生活实际激发学习兴趣。 2．单元教学课时安排：六课时 三、单元教学目标 1． 能力目标 （1）能够就所喜欢的季节及原因进行问答，如：What’s your favourite season? / Which season do you like best? Summer/Winter…Why do you like…? Because I can… （2）能够就天气情况进行问答，如：What’s the weather like in …? Sunny. （3）能够听懂、会唱本单元的歌曲 What’s your favourite season?和歌谣。 2．知识目标 （1）能够认读A、B部分Let’s learn,Read and write中的单词和句子，并掌握其中的四会单 词。 （2）能够掌握Read and write中的四会句子，能读懂对话内容，并完成阅读理解检测题。 （3）能够理解并开展Let’s start,Make a survey, Task time 等部分的内容。 （4）能够了解Pronunciation 中字母组合air ,ear, sp, sk 的发音规则，能朗读相关的例词。 （5）了解Good to know, Story time等部分的内容。 3．情感、策略、文化目标 （1）情感态度：让学生有兴趣用英语表达，能积极参与课堂活动。 （2）学生策略：引导学生关注小组合作学习，培养沟通与交流的能力。 （3）文化目标：让学生了解有关全球天气差异的常识。 A 第一课时 一、教学内容与目标 1．教学内容：Let’s chant A. Let’s learn Let’s find out 2．教学目标： a．能够听、说、读、写单词：season, spring, summer, fall, winter. b．能够使用句型： What’s your favourite season? 提问，并能够根据实际情况回答。 c．能够看懂指示语，并按照指令完成Let’s find out 中的简单任务，绘图并会话。 d．能够说唱歌谣。 二、教学重、难点 1．本课时的重点是正确书写五个名词并运用句型：What’s your favourite season ? 和What’s the weather like in…? 进行问答。 2．难点是听、说、读、写单词spring , summer , fall , winter 和season . 三、课前准备 1．录音机和录音带。 2．有关于四季的教学卡片。 3．有关不同天气情况的图片。 4．一张中国地图，并预先在几个重要城市标注天气符号。 5．准备一套有关不同天气情况的图片。 四、教学步骤 1．热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision） （1）Let’s chant： Mmm! It’s warm today! Take off your jacket! Phew! It’s hot today! Put on your T-shirt! Oooh! It’s cool today! Put on your sweater! Brrr! It’s cold today! Put on your coat! （2）Brainstorm What’s your favorite colour / food / drink / fruit / animal / weather? （3）复习有关单词 a．板书最后一个问题的答案。 b．教师问：What’s the weather like today? 板书 c．教师呈现四级图片问：What’s the weather like in this picture? And what about this one? 将学生的回答分成四季进行板书，并将图片贴在相应的位置上。 2．呈现/操练（Presentation/Practice） Let’s learn （1）教师在黑板上画一棵树的树干，再画上几片浅绿色的树叶，对学生说：Look ! The leaves are green now . What season is it now ? 出示单词卡片season, 教学season。再呈现单词卡片spring 教学spring，学生跟读，并根据生活经验对spring的天气特征进行描述，如： Spring is warm in Ruian / Hongkong.等。之后，教师指着地图上南、北、东、西一些主要城市，提问：What’s the weather like in spring in Beijing / Shenzhen？等，引导学生回答。师生一起拼读单词spring . （2）教师继续在枝干上画树叶，继而引出summer （3）教师利用简笔画引出fall 和winter . （4）交换司出示各种天气状况的图片，进行师生问答，如： T: What’s the weather like ? S: It’s windy . T: What season is it now ? S: Spring 等。 教师继续提问学生： What’s your favourite season ? 引导学生回答： Spring /summer 。。。并进一步陈述原因，如: It’s warm and sunny… Let’s chant 教师放Let’s chant 部分的歌谣，学生跟录音说唱歌谣。教师反复出示相应的.图片与语句对应，加强学生的理解，复习巩固生词。 3．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension） （1）Let’s find out a．教师问What’s your favourite season ? 根据学生的回答追问What’s the weather like in…? What’s the tree like in…? b．学生打开书本画树，并互相交流，教师巡视、指导。 c．请几位学生描述自己画好的各个季节的树。 （2）书写四会单词三次，完成作业本、抄写本。 板书设计： Unit 2 My Favourite Season Let’s learn： 简笔画 四会单词 A 第二课时 一、教学内容与目标 1．教学内容：A. Let’s try Let’s talk Make a survey C. Let’s sing 2．教学目标： a．能够听懂、会说并能回答句型：Which season do you like best ?能够在恰当的情景中运用。 b．能够听懂Let’s try部分的录音，并根据录音内容把任务与他们最喜欢的季节连线。 c．能够看懂Make a survey部分的指示语，并按指示语完成调查小组成员最喜欢哪个季节的任务。 d．学唱歌曲“What’s Your Favourite Season ?” 二、教学重、难点 1．重点：句型Which season do you like best ?及其答句。 2．难点：引导学生准确自如地用句型：“Which season do you like best ?…Ican…”回答自己最喜欢的季节及其原因。 三、课前准备 1．录音机及录音带。 2．教师准备A部分Let’s learn的单词卡片。 3．教师准备准备若干张写有不同单词和标点的小卡片。 四、教学步骤 1．热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision） （1）Enjoy a sing：What’s Your Favourite Season? （2）教师放本单元Let’s chant 部分的歌谣，让学生随着节奏跟唱。 2．呈现/操练（Presentation/Practice） （1）Let’s try. a．引出生词best T: There are four seasons in a year, spring, summer, fall and winter. I like spring.（板书并画一个笑脸）I like summer better.（板书并画两个笑脸）I like fall best.（板书并画三个笑脸） Which season do you like best? 重复几次。 b．Listen and match： T: Which season do Mike, Chen Jie and Amy like best? Let’s listen to the tape. 听后校对答案。 （2）Let’s talk a．引出对话。 T: Amy likes spring best. Mike likes fall best. Then which season does Zhang Peng like best? 学生听录音，回答问题。 b．阅读对话。 T: Why does Mike like fall? And why does Zhang Peng like winter? 教师根据学生的回答教学always和play with snow。 （3）Chant Which season do you like best? Spring, spring, wind and warm. Which season do you like best? Summer, summer, sunny and hot. Which season do you like best? Fall, fall, windy and cool. Which season do you like best? Winter, winter, windy and cold. （4）Make a survey. T: Which season do you like best? S1: Spring. T: Why? Summer is good, but fall is my favourite season. b．能够理解Read and write 部分的对话并能正确回答问题和书写答句。 c．能够总结字母air, ear, sp, sk的发音规律，并能朗读Pronunciation部分所提供的例词。 二、教学重、难点 1．重点：掌握四会句子：Which season do you like best?及其答句I like winter best . 2．难点：对各个季节的特征及在不同季节进行的活动进行综合表述。 三、课前准备 1．录音机和录音带。 2．教师准备Pronunciation部分的教学挂图。 3．教师准备人们在不同季节所进行的活动的图片及本课时的单词卡片。 四、教学步骤 1．热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision） （1）Let’s sing：“What’s Your Favourite Season ?” （2）Look and guess： 教师做动作，学生猜是什么季节、什么天气。然后一个学生做，其他学生猜。 2．呈现/操练（Presentation/Practice） Read and write （1）教师利用简笔画引出人们在不同季节所进行的活动和该季节的景物特征，如Play in the snow, swim in the sea. 教师做示范: I like fall best, the sky is blue, the leaves are colourful.
