Teaching objectives Instruction objectives: 1.Language: l The students will learn some words about animals: tiger elephant koala dolphin panda lion penguin giraffe l The students will learn some description words to describe the animals : cute fun smart interesting 2.skill l Students will be practicing the pronunciation of these words Learner’s outcomes 1. The students will be able to say some names of the animals . 2. The students will be able to describe the animals 3. The students will be able to pronounce the names of the animals and the description words Procedures: Teaching procedures Learning procedures (一)Warming up: 教师让学生复习旧的句型,为新课的句型做好铺垫。 T: What is your favorite song ? Why do you like it ? T: Who is your favorite singer ? Why ? T: Yes , she sings very well . But do you know Who is my favorite singer? And what kind of music do I like ? Let’s listen !(一段清脆的鸟叫声乐曲,自然界的音乐家,导出动物) T: Do you think this kind of music is beautiful ? It is sung by the singer from the nature ____the bird . It is a kind of animals . T: Can you read it ? 学生熟悉旧的句型 S: My heart will go on . Because it is beautiful . S: Zhang Shaohan . She is lovely and she is good at singing S: We don’t know .. S: Yes . S: a: apple bag thank i: this it is a: Amercia China S: animal . (二)Presentation: 教师让学生回忆自己熟悉的动物,再由各种方法学习课本中出现的动物名称。 T:What animals do you know ? T: Yes ,they are all animals .Today we will learn some other animals you don’t know . T: Let’s listen to the sounds of the animals , and you can guess what animals they are ?
