自主招生面试英语自我介绍
英语是各高校自主招生的必考科目，复旦大学的英语测试一般包括词汇、阅读理解、完型填空等题型，交大的英语测试一般包括词汇与结构、阅读理解、完型填空和英语作文等题型，其它一些高校的英语试卷还包括听力、中英互译、改错等题型。各高校的英语测试，特别是复旦、交大、上外三校对考生词汇量提出了较高的要求，其试卷要求学生词汇量达到英语四、六级水平。
除了笔试以外，各高校的自主招生还包括面试，面试一般包括常规问题，常识性问题，时事热点问题，专业相关问题和思想道德与价值观问题。面试主要以中文进行，但是考官也会中途用英语与考生交谈，对一些外语专业的高校，更要做好用英语参加面试的准备。
面试部分：适度包装，诚信推销自己
用英语参加面试，对部分考生说可能是第一次，考生要克服紧张情绪，要避免夸夸其谈，要适度、诚信地为自己做宣传，让教授觉得自己是个“可塑之才”。
(一)准备必考问题
通过对往年面试题目的分析，对于一些必考问题，考生完全可以准备。比如准备一份英语的自我介绍，不用面面俱到，但要说出特点，讲到重点，考生可以介绍对自己影响最深的人、事、物，最喜欢的书，最近在读的'一本书，高中生活的收获与遗憾，个人生涯规划等。考生在介绍自己优点的同时，应该诚恳地向考官介绍自己的缺点，考生诚信地推销自己会给教授留下良好的印象。很多考生都是自己学校的佼佼者，会介绍自己得过多少奖项，建议考生在介绍自己得奖的同时，讲讲自己从对手身上学到什么，考生谦虚好学的态度会让教授觉得有潜力可挖掘。
很多考生都知道具体的事例比空洞的条条杠杠更容易被人记住，但是在介绍事例时应注意时态的变化，介绍自己的现状时用一般现在时，介绍自己的过去经历时用一般过去时，介绍自己过去经历对现在人生观的影响时用现在完成时。除了介绍事例以外，陈述自己的观点也是必不可少的，而陈述观点时需注意语态的变化，当要婉转表达自己观点时，可以用被动语态“Itis thought”, “It is believed”,当要引述他人观点时也可以用被动语态 “It is said”,“It isreported”。
(二)经历模拟面试
考生在面试前可以把自己的介绍做个录音，然后听听自己的声音表现，一听音准，二听音调自然，三听停顿恰当，四听语速正常。有些考生会过度紧张，在面试时咬紧牙齿，导致发音失真。
考生在面试前也可以寻求老师或同学的帮助，做次模拟面试，请老师、同学为自己正音。考生在经历模拟面试的时候，可以体验面试的场景，缓解真实面试环境中紧张的情绪。在模拟面试的时候还要注意仪态、仪表的细节问题。比如倾听模拟考官的提问，双手递交材料，说话时双眼正视模拟考官等，如果在模拟面试时暴露出一些小毛病，可以请老师、同学为自己“整形”。
