  一、教学目标

  1、能听懂、会说新单词carry,clever,understand,difficult,friendly,happy as a bird;能理解单词the other people,spoke to,never mind;

  2、能听懂、会说、复述本课原故事;

  3、能感知并理解形容词原级比较形式“as…as”的用法;

  4、渗透与人为善的教育。

  二、教学重点及难点

  重点:理解并复述故事

  难点:“as…as”结构。

  三、教学准备

  英语读物一本、单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带等。(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片或多媒体课件)

  四、教学步骤

  Step 1  Warming up

  1、师生问候。

  2、唱已学的英语歌曲。

  3、利用教室中的物品或文具作比较,自由会话。

  Step 2  Presentation and drill

  1、情景引入,教新单词carry,clever,understand,diffcult,friendly,happy as a bird。

  1)抱起一叠作业本,假装抱不动。

  T:Oh,the exercise books are so heavy that I cant carry it .Who can carry them for me ? Who can help me?

  S1: Let me carry them for you.

  T: Thank you . Youre so friendly.

  板书单词carry 和friendly,带读。

  2)出示英语读物。

  T: S2,please read this story for us.

  S2: Sorry ,I cant read it.

  T: It doesnt matter . This book is too difficult.

  板书单词difficult,带读。

  T:Who can read it?

  S3: Let me have a try.…

  T: You are very clever. I feel very happy. And I think I am as happy as a bird . Do you understand?

  板书单词clever,understand,happy as a bird,解释其含义,然后带读若干遍。

  2、听课文B部分录音,跟读单词。

  Step  3  Fast  reading  and  ilstening

  1、快速阅读课文A部分,理解故事大意,回答问题。

  T: One day ,the children were free. Where did they go? what did they do? Please read the story puickly and see what the story is about.

  2、听课文A部分录音,进一步理解故事内容;模信其语音、语调,掌握新词难句的'读音。

  Step  4  intensive reading

  1、精读课文,讨论完成问题。

  2、再次阅读课文,然后两人一组完成课文C部分练习。

  3、再次听录音,跟读。

  Step  5  Consolidation

  1、根据表格复述故事。

  2、评价。

  3、练习。(见《练习册》P33-34)

  4、家庭作业。

  1)听磁带,背课文。

  2)复述故事给家人听。

  Period  2

  一、教学目标

  1、能掌握并熟练地运用结构“as…as”

  2、通过情景交际,提高学生运用语言、组织语言的能力,激发学生的求知欲。

  二、教学重点及难点

  重点:掌握并灵活运用“as…as”结构。

  难点:对人(事)物作出恰如其分的比较描述。

  三、教学准备

  人物和动物图片、各种文具若干。

  四、教学步骤

  Step 1  Warming up

  1、师生问候。

  2、复述课文A部分故事。

  Step 2  Practice

  课文D部分。

  1、两人一组讨论。

  T: Read the description carefully. Discuss and find out how tall each child is.

  2、完成练习。

  Step  3  Consolidation

  1、创设情景,自由会话。

  情景:新学期第一天来到学校,你的心情怎样?你帮助老师和同学做了些什么?你和你的同学有没有展示和比较你们的新文具呢?

  (教师提供参考情景,鼓励学生大胆自创情景,自由交流。)

  Peter:Hello , Sam.Nice to meet you again!

  Sam: Nice to see you again,too!

  Peter: Its the first day of a new term . Our school is more beautiful than before.

  Sam:Yes. It is as beautiful as a garden .How do you feel today?

  Peter : Im as happy as a bird. How about you?

  Sam:Me too! Oh,Miss Li is coming with out new books. Lets go and help her.

  P&S: Good morning ,Miss Li .Lets help you carry these heavy books.We are as strong as horses/?Hercules.

  T:Oh,you are so kind. Thank you.

  (他们走进教室,Peter看见Ann在擦黑板,但怎么也擦不到高处的字。)

  Peter: Hi ,Ann. Let me help you. Youre not as tall as me .

  Ann: All right .Thank you.

  Sam: Hi, Ann. Come on. I bought many stationaries yesterday .Would you like to have a look?

  Ann: OK.

  Sam:This is my new schoolbay . Is it nice?

  Ann: Yes. Mine is as nice as yours. Whats in it ? Let me look!Oh!Its a big new Cooldog pencil-box. I got a new one too.Look! Its as big as yours.

  一、教学目标

  1、能理解新单词 camel, fox, lion,bull,brave;

  2、能正确地使用形容词brave, clever,happy,strong,angry,quiet;

  3、能正确地书写含有“as…as”结构的句子。

  二、教学重点及难点

  重点:熟练运用并书写含用“as…as”结构的句子。

  难点:正确选择参照物进行比较。

  三、教学准备

  动物图片(或幻灯片)等。

  四、教学步骤

  2、热身操。

  T:I can run. I can run as fast as a rabbit.

  I can climb.I climb as quickly as a monkey.

  学生每说出一种动物及描述它们的形容词,即板书出来。(学生能说出 camel, fox, lion 最好,若不能说出教师注意引导。)

  T:My favorite animals are camels.(出示骆驼的图片)Theyre brave.They can live in the desert. We call them"a boat of the desert".

  T:Do you like foxes?(出示狐狸的图片)Foxes are very clever.

  T(出示狮子的图片):The lion is the King of the Forest.

  2、完成课文E部分练习。

  Step 3 practice

  学戏——Little Doctor(小博士)

  学生说出所知道的动物的名称,看谁说得多,评为“小博士”。

  1、用所学的形容词描述动物。

  The foxes are very clever.

  The camels are very tall.

  The horses are very strong.

  The lions are very brave.

  Step 4 Consolidation

  1、让学生们互相调查了解彼此最喜爱的动物,并说明理由。

  2、评价。
