英语教案-下学期 Could you help me, please

教学内容分析

本单元的核心教学项目是“提供帮助”和“请求帮助”,同时涉及对物品的描述。

第65课是本单元的第一课,也是新学期开学的第一节英语课。第一部分内容是教师Mr Green与值日生Hu Ming的对话,通过对全班学生出勤情况的了解,复习上一学期所学的知识,进而引出本单元的重点语法项目:Hu Ming,could you help me?第二部分通过猜测游戏,引出不定代词one的用法,复习has的用法。

第66课,第一部分对话引出本单元的核心教学项目:Let me help you.(提供帮助)重点语言项目:That’s a big box.Is it heavy?It’s light / empty.第二部分的两组对话引出了另一个核心教学项目:Could you help me,please?(请求帮助)以及其他语言项目:I want to take… to…/Let’s put…in…Can you carry it/Certainly!

第67课的三段对话,意思连贯,教学重点仍是本单元的核心教学项目,同时也引出新的语言项目:This bag/box is too big/heavy. We can’t carry it. There! Now give me a bottle of orange juice, please.

第68课是复习课,第一、二部分是单词的拼写、发音及重音方面的练习。第三、四部分是用英语描述娃娃以及自己身体的各部分名称。第五、六部分的两段对话仍是对本单元的核心教学项目的重点练习。

本单元的重点是掌握提供帮助,请求帮助的交际用语。难点是形容词的用法。

(一)重点、难点

单词及短语

full, light, too, carry, bottle, big, small, listen to

1. full在本单元作“满的”讲,其反义词是empty.例:

(l)The box is full.

(2)The bottles is empty. Could you give me a full one?

full还可以作“饱的”讲,其反义词是hungry.I’m no hungry,I am full.

2. light在本单元作形容词用,意思是“轻的”,其反义词是 heavy.例:The box is light, it isn’t heavy.

light还可以作名词,其意思是“灯”。What’s that?It’s a light.

3. listen to作“听,倾听”讲,要与hear区别开来。

Listen to him carefully, but I hear nothing.

句子

1. Today is Tuesday, February 18th.

2. Could I have a full one, please?

本句中的 could可以用can来代替。Could I…?或Can I …?都是用来征求对方是否允许自己做某事。但could比can语气要委婉。

3. I want to take some books to the classroom.

“want”是“想要”的意思。   want to do sth.“想要做某事”

want sth.“想要某物”         wan sb.to do sth.“想要某人做某事”

4. Could you help me, please?

5. Now give me a bottle of orange, please.

give sb. sth. =give sth. to sb.

语法

学习形容词的用法。

(二)疑点

1. Is everyone here today?

(1)该句是日常用语中用来询问或了解“出勤”、“出席”情况的。其肯定回答形式为: Yes, we are all here today.或Yes, all are here;;其否定回答为: No.或No,… is no here.

(2)当everyone作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称的单数形式。

2. Please let me help you

以let开头的祈使句常用来表示说话人的建议、请求、命令等。“Let sb. do sth.”意思是“让某人于某事”,“sb.”用宾格。

例如:Let him play games ./Let them have a look at these pictures.

3. Here you are, Dad.

4. What about this blue one?

What about...? 用来征求意见或询问消息,后面可直接跟名词、代词、动名词。

例如:What about your father? /What about playing basketball this afternoon?

词汇教学

1.利用图片或实物教学Tuesday, February, face, eye, ear, leg, hand, mouth, tape, basket, head, nose, hair, arm, foot.

2.借助表情、手势或动作教学 carry, there, listen to, draw, long, short, heavy, empty, say.

3.创设情景教学Could,help,want to,certainly, too.

口语训练

1.本单元的口语训练应结合各课的会话展开。重点围绕本单元的核心教学项目“Let me help you”.和“Could you help me,please?”教师应充分利用形象性的动作和表演或实物、挂图、投影片等直观教具,进行情景对话的教学,组织学生进行口语训练。比如第66课,教师和学生可以进行以下句型操练:

T: Hi, . . . (人名) ! Could you come here, please?

S: OK. I’m coming, Miss/Mr. …

T: I want to take these books/pears/apples to my office. Could you help me, please?

S: Certainly!

T: Thanks. Let’s put them in the bag/box/basket.

然后替换斜线部分的词,多做几组练习。有条件的可利用投影或微机呈现替换部分的词,激发学生的兴趣。

比如第67课,可以设计以下的情景对话。

Dad: Let s carry these things to the room.

Mum: OK.

Ann: OK.

Ann: Mum, this bag/box/basket is too heavy/big/full. I can’t carry it. Could you help me, please?

Mum: Certainly. Let me help you. There! OK?

Ann: Thanks. Mum.

Mum: You’re welcome.

Ann: Dad, this desk/table/bike is too heavy. I can’t carry it

Could you help me, please?

Dad: OK! Let me carry it, please. There!

语法教学

本单元的重点语法项目是形容词,主要是对物品进行的对比性的描述。教师在教学语法时,可补充一些替换练习。

1.实物对比性描述与问答。

(1)This box is heavy. That box is light.

Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.

(3)These baskets are heavy.

能力训练教学

本单元的核心教学项目是“提供帮助和请求帮助”(Offering help and requesting help)。在整个教学过程 中教师应始终围绕“提供帮助”(Let me help you.)和“请求帮助”(Could you help me, please?)这两个中心以及其他语言项目:That’s a big box. Is it heavy? No, it’s light/ empty. I want to take …to…/ Let’s put …in…/ Can yon carry it?/I think I can.组织学生进行反复操练,以达到熟练掌握的目的。

学习方法建议

(一)本单元的词汇比较多,为了便于记忆,学生可以采取如下方法:

1.对比法掌握形容词eg:light→heavy, full→empty, short→long, etc.

2.借助实物或图片,学生两人一组互相提问What’s this?It’s a/an….反复操练,达到熟练掌握的目的。

3.借助表情和手势创设情景掌握动词的用法。 A学生做出动词carry, draw, listen to, help …… 的手势,B学生说出其英文单词,然后相互交换。

(二)学生要熟练掌握以下短语和句型。

短语:give sb. sth. ,want to do sth. ,take sth. to, be full of, a bottle of

句型:Could I/you. . . ? What about. . . ?

(三)在熟读课文的基础上,学生组成对话小组,参照挂图进行表演,从而掌握“请求帮助”和“提供帮助”的习惯用法。

向学生出示带到课堂上的盒子,可以就这个盒子向学生提几个问题:Is this box big or small? Is it heavy or light? Is it full or empty? 借助实物以及表情教heavy, light, fall , empty.教给学生This is a big box. It’s empty.形容词修饰单数名词时,形容词前有“a”.如果没有名词,形容词前不要加“a”,例如:It’s a big是错误的。

2.将单词卡片打乱,让学生朗读这些单词。

3.做练习册第一个练习,试着读出所有单词。

Step3 Word stress

1.将书合上,告诉学生,英语单词有重音,它是英语单词的一部分。

2.放录音,第一遍听,学生体会这些单词;第二遍,让同学眼读。

3.将单词卡片打乱,出示给学生,让学生准确地读这些单词,并纠正不正确的发音,指出单词重音用“′”符号表示。

操作过程:

(1)教师创设情景:外出游玩时,你的同伴(或弟弟、妹妹)不见了,你焦急地向路人询问他们的下落;

(2)学生两人一组,A扮演寻人者,B扮演好心的路人或警察,自编一段对话,并配以相应的表情和动作;

(3)准备好的小组在全班表演;

(4)其他学生和教师根据表演情况,评选出“最佳表演奖”、“最佳表情奖”、“最佳对话奖”和“最佳内容奖”等。

操作过程:

(1)教师组织全班学生采用边指边说的形式,复习有关身体各部位名称的单词;

(2)学生两人一组做游戏。学生A发出指令:“Your left eye! /Your nose!/ Your right ear! / Your arm!”等,学生B根据指令快速指出相应的部位;

(3)学生A、B互换角色,游戏继续进行;

(4)请2~4个小组表演,其余学生判断表演者有无错误动作,并评出“快速点击手”。

比一比,说一说

目的:复习表示事物特征的形容词,培养学生的想象能力和快速反应能力。

语言知识:表示长短、大小、轻重、高矮、新旧的形容词。

提示词语:long short,big,small,tall,light,heavy,new,old,etc.

操作过程:

(1)教师布置任务,要求学生在陈述句中尽可能多地使用已学过的表示长短、大小、高矮、轻重、新旧的形容词;

(2)学生3~4人一组合作造句(例如:“Our classroom is big./Mr. Chen is tall./My grandfather is old./His ruler is long.”等),并推选一位学生记录;

(3)小组成员将共同补充和修改后的句子誊抄后交给老师;

(4)教师根据各组学生所写的句子的数量和质量作出等级评价,对有创意的句子(例如:“My hair is long,but Mr. Li’s hair is short.”等)酌情加分,并展示给全班学生。

车站接人

目的:复习有关描写人体部位和外形特征的词汇,强化“辨别人物”的语言功能,培养学生用英语思维的能力。

语言知识:描述有关身体部位和身体特征的词汇和句型以及打招呼用语。

提示词语:

(1)I want to know where he/she is.(near the gate,at the station,over there,etc.)

(2)What does he/she look like?

tall/short,fat/thin,long/short,big/small,a round face,black hair,etc.)

操作过程:

(1)教师布置任务,提出具体要求,并对教室进行适当的布置,创设一个模拟车站的情景;

(2)教师发给每位学生一张卡片,让其在卡片的正面用英语描述自己最感兴趣的一位同学的外貌特征,在卡片的反面用英语注出该同学的姓名,完成后教师把卡片收回;

(3)教师让学生选出五位自愿去“车站”接人者,每人从收集的卡片箱中抽取一张,并根据卡片的描述找到所要接的“客人”(鼓励学生多用英语交谈);

(4)其他学生作为裁判,以迅速而准确找出所接的客人为标准,选出“火眼金睛”数名。

击掌猜词

学生A和学生B两人。

要求:学生A和学生B面对面。学生A右手食指摸着自己的鼻子尖,同时伸出左手,掌心向上。学生B用手拍学生A的左手掌,每拍一下,迅速说出一个身体部位的单词(如:eye,ear,mouth,hair,nose…)。随着学生B的击掌和喊声,学生A必须用右手迅速指向正确的部位。如果指错,仍指着自己的鼻子,由学生B继续下去,直到学生A猜对了,两人进行替换。这个游戏可在同桌之间进行。

蒙眼画像

学生A被蒙上眼睛,站在黑板前边,用粉笔(可用彩色粉笔)在黑板上为自己画像。

要求:1)一边画一边用英语说出自己画的是什么。如:This is my head.These are my eyes.This is my nose.

2)画毕,由学生B(或全班学生)用英语问学生A:Where’s your head(nose,mouth…)?Where are your arms (legs, eyes…)?

学生A用手去指,然后用英语回答:It’s here.(They are here)

由于被蒙着眼,学生A的自画像往往奇形怪状,回答问题所指之处,所答非所问,令人捧腹,且妙趣横生。

课堂游戏

游戏时间:10分钟左右

游戏目的:

(1)寓学于乐;

(2)复习巩固有关的人体器官名词;

(3)复习巩固服装的名词

材料准备:纸、铅笔、剪刀

游戏过程:

1.老师在黑板上铺上一张纸,同时叫学生拿出预先准备好的纸和笔让学生跟着自己画(简笔画),分别为bead, hair, nose, mouth, skirt, T-shirt.

2.边画边用英语说出所画器官或服装的单词(学生也跟着念)。

如:H-E-A-D,HEAD; H-A一I一R,HAIR; N-O-S一R,NOSE;F一O一O一T,FOOT;etc. S— W- E- A- T- E一R,SWEATER; C-O-A-T,COAT.etc.

3.画完后用剪刀把所画图案剪下来,边剪边说出所剪图片的单词。

如:HEAD,H-E-A一D,HEAD;HAIR,H-A一I一R,HAIR;COAT,C-O -A-T,COAT;TROUSERS,T-R-O-U-S-E-R一S,TROUSERS.etc.

4.剪完后开始拼图,老师讲一样学生拼一样,拼完器官后再给“穿”衣服。如遇到一些因性别而异的单词,如,shirt,blouse,skirt,dress,etc.可以对学生说:If it is a man/woman, we give him a shirt/ her a blouse.etc.

5.拼完图后,还可以对学生说:Let’s take off his(her)shoes/socks/trousers/coat/shirt. etc. 或Let’s put his(her)hands/arms/legs/hair away etc.

6.图片全部收完后,游戏也就做完了。

补充:

1.此游戏还可以根据时间或课堂气氛的需要适当补充一些课外单词。如:tooth/  teeth,tie,belt,handkerchief,ear-rings.etc.

2.如时间允许,此游戏还可以复习有关颜色的单词,如:Colour the eyes black. Colour the dreess red.

3.学生剪完图片后剩下的纸屑,要求他们自己收拾干净。可借此机会向学生进行  爱护环境卫生的社会公德教育。
