摘要：如何培养学生英语阅读能力是一个当务之急的课题。尤其是农村英语阅读教学，面临着越来越严峻的挑战。本文就农村英语阅读教学所面临的困难做了细致的分析，并找出合适的对策予以解决，并指出了教师在学生的阅读教学中发挥着重要的作用。

Abstract:  How to cultivate students’ reading ability is an urgent affair. The teaching of English language reading in the country is especially facing more and more austere challenges. The author of this article has analysed in detail the difficulties in the teaching reading and proposed some proper solutions to them. She has also pointed out that teachers play a very important role in the students’ reading teaching of the language.
