毕业论文：论《史记》中程度副词“颇” - 语言文学毕业论文

摘  要：程度副词“颇”始见于《史记》。关于它的语义，1直存在着两可的理解，认为既可表示程度深，也可表示程度浅。本文认为，1种语言形式，在产生之初就表示截然相反的两种语义，是不可能。文章收集并分析了《史记》中全部“颇”的用法，并参考了魏晋时期的工具书和唐人对《史记》《汉书》和《昭明文选》的注释，明确提出，至少在唐代以前，“颇”只有表示程度浅1种语义。

Abstract: "Po" as an adverb of degree first appears in Records of Historian of the HanDynasty. There is always adual explaination for the semantic meaning of "Po" thatdenotes either a greater degree or a less degree. It ishardly possible, however, that a new word can get just twoopposite meaning as it appears. With the collection andanalysis of all and every usage of "Po" in Records of theHistorian, reference made to the books related to it in Wei,Jin Dynasties and explanatory notes on Records of theHistorian, Chronicles of the Han Dynasty, and Zhao mingsLiterary Selections by people of Tang Dynasty, the authordraws such clear-cut judgment as follows: at least beforeTang Dynasty "Po" had indicaled only a single sematic meaningof a less degree.
