Progress Of The SJ-8 Space Seed Breeding Program

Since the recovery of China's first seed-breeding satellite SJ-8 on September 24,2006,scientists have made important progress on the SJ-8 seed breeding program during the past 3 years. Basic space-mutated breeding populations of main crops are developed and sorted from crop species and regions.
