西恩·赫本·费勒是好莱坞著名女星奥黛丽·赫本与第一任丈夫梅尔·费勒的儿子，是个电影全才，曾经从事与电影相关的开发、制片、后期制作、市场推广等工作长达28年，同时还是American Cinema Awards的创办会员之一。
1994年，西恩与其同母异父的弟弟卢卡·多蒂以及赫本最后的人生伴侣罗伯特·沃德斯共同创办了奥黛丽·赫本儿童基金会(Audrey Hepburn Childrens Fund)，继续着赫本伟大的人道主义工作。
由于从小就在欧洲各国辗转的接受教育之缘故，所以西恩的英语、法语、意大利语、葡萄牙语、西班牙语都说的很流畅。
西恩与妻子乔凡娜及两个儿子住在美国加州的圣莫尼卡和意大利的托斯卡纳。

西恩·赫本·费勒于2003年正式出版了自己为母亲奥黛丽·赫本所撰写的人物传记《天使在人间》("Audrey Hepburn: An Elegant Spirit" )，讲述了奥黛丽·赫本是怎样从一个平凡女孩成长为世界巨星的传奇故事。本传记绝对是众多奥黛丽·赫本的传记中最真实和权威的一本。
西恩在书中讲述了赫本在战火中度过的童年、在好莱坞光圈外的生活、晚年为慈善事业做出的贡献，并且还从儿子的角度分析了母亲的情感世界，带领读者深入赫本温柔而美丽的内心世界，进行一次心灵的旅行。
中文版本由孙源、张勤等翻译，于2009年12月1日由陕西师范大学出版社正式出版。
