　　I was born in a beautiful city. It is Dalian. I have lived here for twelve years, and I love her. The whole city looks like a huge garden because we can see flowers everywhere.

　　In spring, the weather is always fine. After a rain, a beautiful rainbow appears in the sky. I like to ride my bike to see the beautiful sight. In fact, my city is beautiful all around the year. During the summer vacation, I always swim in the blue sea and read the poem on the beach.

　　I like Dalian. It is as pretty as a wonderland.

　　Lanterns are everywhere. A most interesting tradition is the posting of riddles called 'Lantern Riddles.' Riddles are written on pieces of paper and posted on lanterns or wall. Any one solving the riddle is awarded a prize. And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan, i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup, my wife got a serious cold, so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. I look forward to the next spring festival.

　　那天，许多同学到家里玩。人都走了后，只见房间里乱七八糟，什么碎纸、书本、圆珠笔……满地都是。我正想叫奶奶快帮我整理一下，不料她又有事出去了--还是自己来吧！

　　把东西放好，扫地，用抹布擦…… 我干得不亦“累”乎。在克服了重重困难后，房间终于打扫好了。可此时的我，已是汗流浃背，精疲力尽。夸张点，差不多要瘫痪了！我是按照奶奶平时的步骤做的呀！没想到那么累！再看看手表，用了将近2个小时呢！（可奶奶平时干这活只需要几分钟就够了）

　　在日常生活中不管干什么我总是挑三拣四的'，可是奶奶并没有烦，因为奶奶不会因为这样子就讨厌我。我在奶奶手下生活了12年了，天天都是这个样子。所以从今往后我要多帮奶奶干一些事情。让奶奶减轻一些负担。

　　我真惭愧！

　　汗珠又一次滴下来，还掺杂着咸咸的泪水。泪咸，我心也咸……

　　从那以后，我懂得了孝敬父母。
