音乐剧，又称为歌舞剧，是把音乐、歌曲、舞蹈和对白融合到一起的一种表演形式，演员通过语言，音乐和动作来表达故事的内容和故事中人物的感情。比如，音乐之声、西区故事、悲惨世界等都是很优秀的音乐剧。
《音乐之声》这个经典的音乐剧，后来还被拍成了电影，深受观众欢迎，里面有首非常经典的歌曲《雪绒花》，一直到如今，还有很多人传唱。
把音乐剧作为一种英语学习方式，我们可以将英语儿歌或童谣和舞蹈表演结合起来，让孩子在跳舞、表演的同时学唱英文儿歌。
