今天是星期天，我在家里读《中华传统美德格言》这本书，我读了以后，觉得受益非浅。特别是孔子“敏而好学，不耻下问”这句格言，对我的教育意义最大。

这个格言后面还有一个感人的故事，说的是：范仲淹是北宋时大文学家。一次，他写了一篇文章，对自己的文章十分满意。后来他的朋友李泰伯看了文章，建议把“德”字改成“风”字，这样做既可以与前边的“云山”、“江水”相呼应，并且更有韵味。范仲淹觉得李泰伯言之有理，便接受他的.意见。经过这个故事，更可说明，当自己有了令自己满意的成果，应当不耻下问，向人多请教。无论是谁，只要有学问，都该去向他们请教。

我平时就没有做到“敏而好学，不耻下问”这一点。正因为这样，我还失败过呢。记得有一天，我正在做奥数题，做着做着，一道题把我给难住了。我百思不得其解，可我还是一边思索，一边在草稿纸上比划着：“一定要把这道题给解出来。”大约过了十分钟，突然妈妈回来了，看到我正在做题，就不打扰我了，可又看见我愁眉苦脸，问我：“怎么了，解不出来了，我跟你一起解，好吗？”“不用了，我自己做。”我答道。时间一分一秒过去，我还是没有把那道奥术题给解开。妈妈又走了过来，看了看那道题，思索了一会儿，“我知道了！”妈妈说道。她把那道题的解法和意思全部告诉了我，我这才豁然开朗。还有一次，我记得我画了一幅画，自己认为画的很不错，就得意洋洋地拿给爱画画的妹妹看，妹妹看了以后说：“画得真好，我还画不出这样的画呢！”我高兴地笑了，妹妹也高兴地笑了。妹妹又仔细地看，她说：“哥哥，你好象有一处地方画错了。”“哪里？我看看。”我说。妹妹指着画说：“你画得是春天春意盎然的景象，可吹的是西北风，这可是牛头不对马尾了吧。”“哎呀，我真粗心啊！妹妹你真仔细啊，你可以做评画专家了。”我赞叹着。妹妹“哈哈”地笑了。
