When you are a kid, you get asked this one particular question a lot, it really gets kind of annoying. What do you want to be when you grow up? Now, adults are hoping for answers like, I want to be an astronaut or I want to be a neurosurgeon, you’re adults in your imaginations.
Kids, they’re most likely to answer with pro-skateboarder, surfer or minecraft player. I asked my little brother, and he said, seriously dude, I’m 10, I have no idea, probably a pro-skier, let’s go get some ice cream.
See, us kids are going to answer something we’re stoked on, what we think is cool, what we have experience with, and that’s typically the opposite of what adults want to hear.
But if you ask a little kid, sometimes you’ll get the best answer, something so simple, so obvious and really profound. When I grow up, I want to be happy.
For me, when I grow up, I want to continue to be happy like I am now. I’m stoked to be here at TedEx, I mean, I’ve been watching Ted videos for as long as I can remember, but I never thought I’d make it on the stage here so soon. I mean, I just became a teenager, and like most teenage boys, I spend most of my time wondering, how did my room get so messy all on its own.
Did I take a shower today? And the most perplexing of all, how do I get girls to like me? Neurosciences say that the teenage brain is pretty weird, our prefrontal cortex is underdeveloped, but we actually have more neurons than adults, which is why we can be so creative, and impulsive and moody and get bummed out.
But what bums me out is to know that, a lot of kids today are just wishing to be happy, to be healthy, to be safe, not bullied, and be loved for who they are. So it seems to me when adults say, what do you want to be when you grow up? They just assume that you’ll automatically be happy and healthy.
Well, maybe that’s not the case, go to school, go to college, get a job, get married, boom, then you’ll be happy, right? You don’t seem to make learning how to be happy and healthy a priority in our schools, it’s separate from schools. And for some kids, it doesn’t exists at all? But what if we didn’t make it separate? What if we based education on the study and practice of being happy and healthy, because that’s what it is, a practice, and a simple practice at that?
Education is important, but why is being happy and healthy not considered education, I just don’t get it. So I’ve been studying the science of being happy and healthy. It really comes down to practicing these eight things. Exercise, diet and nutrition, time in nature, contribution, service to others, relationships, recreation, relaxation and stress management, and religious or spiritual involvement, yes, got that one.
So these eight things come from Dr. Roger Walsh, he calls them Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes or TLCs for short. He is a scientist that studies how to be happy and healthy. In researching this talk, I got a chance to ask him a few questions like; do you think that our schools today are making these eight TLCs a priority? His response was no surprise, it was essentially no. But he did say that many people do try to get this kind of education outside of the traditional arena, through reading and practices such as meditation or yoga.
But what I thought was his best response was that, much of education is oriented for better or worse towards making a living rather than making a life.
In 20xx, Sir Ken Robinson gave the most popular Ted talk of all time. Schools kill creativity. His message is that creativity is as important as literacy, and we should treat it with the same status.
A lot of parents watched those videos, some of those parents like mine counted it as one of the reasons they felt confident to pull their kids from traditional school to try something different. I realized I’m part of this small, but growing revolution of kids who are going about their education differently, and you know what? It freaks a lot of people out.
Even though I was only nine, when my parents pulled me out of the school system, I can still remember my mom being in tears when some of her friends told her she was crazy and it was a stupid idea.
Looking back, I’m thankful she didn’t cave to peer pressure, and I think she is too. So, out of the 200 million people that have watched Sir Ken Robinson’s talk, why aren’t there more kids like me out there?
Shane McConkey is my hero. I loved him because he was the world’s best skier. But then, one day I realized what I really loved about Shane, he was a hacker. Not a computer hacker, he hacked skiing. His creativity and inventions made skiing what it is today, and why I love to ski. A lot of people think of hackers as geeky computer nerds who live in their parent’s basement and spread computer viruses, but I don’t see it that way.

一、在英语的学习过程中，词汇学习是最初的也是最重要的一环。单词记得越多越准确，释义，搭配，例句，用法掌握得越牢固，你学英语才会如虎添翼。下面给大家将一些学习词汇的方法。学习词汇首先可以找规律。英语中的词汇构成大多都是有规律可循的。
另外联想法也很有用，当你的词汇量累积到一定程度时，就要学会在学习新的'单词时联想到曾学过的与新单词有联系的表达方式，反之亦然。这样不仅能更深刻理解这些有联系的单词的区别。同时也能起到“温故”的作用。
词汇的应用也是非常重要的，我们可以和学习伙伴用英语交流，自己朗读等。
二、学语法是为了让我们更好地了解英语的逻辑，使学英语达到事半功倍的效果。下面来谈谈语法的学习。
1、练习是学习语法最好的方法，也就是造句，写作，以及最基本的口语句子造句。
2、有人说语法是英语学习中最枯燥的环节，但仔细看看，你会发现同中文有很多相通之处，如句子构成，主谓宾，词的运用，要注意的就是中英文元素排序不同。语法对于分析句子的意思帮助也是非常大的，尤其是超长的句子，有的时候一个句子就有三四行甚至占据整个段落。尝到了甜头，就有了学语法的动力了。
三、英语听力不行，就等于你是英语聋子，生活中最多的还是口语上的交流，你听不懂对方说的话，根本就无法进行交流。所以英语听力也是非常重要的。
1、家长首先要培养孩子听英语的兴趣。可是兴趣要从你喜欢的事物中来。可以通过看英文电影，听英文歌曲，收听英文节目提高英语学习的兴趣时间一长，听力成绩就会大大提高。
四、口语
1、练英语口语首先要解决语音语调的问题，一开始我就是尽量去模仿老师的语音语调，后来可以看英文电影来模仿起来。
2、不要让自己认为讲的不好羞于开口，这是练习英语口语最大的忌讳，一定要鼓足勇气，只有说出来才会发现自己的不足，进而改正并提高。

in the modern society study english is becoming more important and popular. but when i was young, i didn’t know of this and prefer to play outside rather than learn english. but my mother said :“english is the necessary tools to talk with foreigners, so you should study in an english class. believe yourself, you can certainly study english well!”finally i agreed my mom’s opinion and began to study ladder english when i was five.
at the beginning i was happy to study, because it was fun in the english class. we played games, and only studied five words, sentence a time. we also learned to sing a lot of english songs. in this studying environment, i was interested in english for the first time.
when i was in grade two, my mother thought that i should study english formally, so she let me study in the class of teacher ye of young palace of beijing. in her class i began to learn the new concept english and touched the grammar for the first time. teacher ye let us practice the oral english, listening and writing. although i should remember much more words than before and had to practice listening and writing every day, and must take the crowded bus to school for two hours every week, i was very happy because i could learn much knowledge that not taught in school.
with my mother and teacher’s encouragement and teaching, i studied very hard and won many prize in the competition. when i was in grade four, i passed pets 1 with the score of 88 of writing, and 5 of oral english, and i passed pets 2 in grade five. i was very happy and excited because i had the experience of talking with foreigners, and even used english to help some people when they met the communication problem. i was also very proud when the foreign

“英语难，难于上青天”，“最令我们头疼的就是学英语”平常交谈中，我们常能听到许多类似的感慨。学英语真的很难吗?我认为：英语学习并非难事，关键在于要用心去学。首先，要舍得投入精力和时间，要有恒心。许多人学习英语时想寻求捷径，我认为这也未尝不可，但必须以坚实的基础为前提。付出总与收获成正比，持之以恒，英语水平就有了相应的提高。其次，掌握一定的词汇量。如果你目前没有掌握一定的词汇量，那么，你一定要学会如何掌握词汇量的方法。英语学习中，单词的记忆是困扰许多人的一个难题。记单词的确不是一件容易的事情，但若方法得当，效果就会好得多。我认为，大家倘能真正做到以下三点，掌握的词汇量一定会不断增多：
1、调整情绪。有的人想学，但却“怕”字当头，这与科学的学习方法相悖。心理学家认为：“当一个人感到极度兴奋时，学习的效果就极佳。它可使我们的思维变得敏捷、活跃，注意力集中。”所以在记忆单词前应首先调整好自己的情绪，使自己拥有一种学习单词的热情和牢记它们的决心，努力使自己处于学习的最佳状态。
2、运用记忆法记单词。现在有许多记忆单词的方法，如词缀词根记忆法、同义词和近义词记忆法，分割联想记忆法，词源记忆法等。我运用最多的`是结合记忆法和词缀词根记忆法。
3、巩固和强化。单词在初次学习后，应及时地复习、巩固，以免在短时间内遗忘。还有一些方法比如收听英语节目、看英文原版录像都是效果不错的方法。即经常有意识地用英语交流。英语考试中阅读理解题所占考分大，耗时多，但如果平时能做到多读，则有助于提高阅读能力。阅读要快读，以提高阅读速度，增加和扩大英语感性认识。
转眼间，我已上岗一个学期了。在这短短的几个月时光中，我深深的体会到了这份工作的纯真与美好。作为“孩子王”，与孩子在一起的氛围是任何现代装饰手段都无法营造。望着那一张张天真可爱的笑脸，一切的烦恼与忧愁刹那间消退，生活的诗画便在眼前飞扬，使心田灿烂，温馨甜美……我觉得小学教师是一个纯真和美好的职业。有人形容小学教师看起来永远都是那么的年轻和充满朝气。这种形容不无道理。当你面对孩子们那双清澈无比又充满童真的眼睛时，当你聆听着他们银铃般的笑声时，每个人都仿佛又重新回到了童年时光。这让我更叫喜欢这个职业，让我觉得这份职业如此纯真美好
可喜的是经过半年的学习、积累、探索，我在英语教学上日趋成熟，逐渐收放自如，总结出了一套自己的教学方法。现简单列出：
一、激发兴趣，维持激-情。
“兴趣是孩子们最好的老师。”使学生带着浓厚的兴趣去学习，将会使教学工作取得事半功倍的效果，这是我教学中最深刻的体会。激发小学生的学习兴趣并不难。小学生初学英语，对英语充满了好奇与向往，与中文迥然不同的语音语调使他们跃跃欲试，欧洲国家的风土人情使他们眼界大开，再加上课堂上，我使用了大量的彩图、实物、头饰、音乐等作为教学工具，设计了丰富多采的教学游戏，让学生在玩中学，在学中玩，身心愉悦地上英语课，在不知不觉中就掌握了知识，使英语成为他们最喜欢的科目。
但更重要的是将这一学习的激-情保持下去。学生到了四、五、六年级，英语课便比较没有新鲜感了，而且随着内容的加深，学生也渐感吃力。对高年级的学生，一方面我适当改变教法，设计出更新颖有效的游戏活动辅助学生理解、记忆，激发学习兴趣，另一方面，也在尝试新的激-情激发点。比如，在英语对话、竞赛、表演中让学生尽情、自由发挥，体验成功的喜悦与满足;在课外举行效仿欧美习俗的聚会等，让学生有机会在浓厚的英语氛围中学习英语，从而产生学英语、说英语的强烈愿望。
二、及时复习，反复操练。
俗语有云：“一日不唱口生，一日不练手生。”因此，在英语教学中我要求学生必须对所学内容倒背如流，脱口而出。因此，每一内容传授完毕后，我都要求学生及时背诵、记忆，确保每一学生在单词、句子的听、说、读、写过关。每天早上，学生必须将所学内容读至少一遍以上，随时保持学习英语的最佳状态。在每一堂英语课前，我都会用英语与学生自由交谈。通过反复的操练，学生对知识自然能掌握得牢，用得活了。
三、严抓书写，打牢基础
学英语并非是一朝一夕的事，可谓“never too old to learn.”(活到老，学到老.)那么，基础的重要性便不言而喻了。初学时如果在书写上或是发音上有不良的习惯或错误，在以后将很难纠正。因此，在小学英语教学中，我在书写和发音上要求特别严格，哪怕是abc这样简单的字母。在书写上，我要求学生先书空，再在练习本上写，最后写到作业本上。乱涂乱画及不符合四线三格书写规则的一律重写至规范为止。“磨刀不误砍柴工”，做好了准备，打牢了基础，既使教学活动更顺利、更规范化，也为学生将来学习英语铺就一条平坦大道。
四、在英语教学中贯彻道德教育原则。
教师的职责，古人概括为“传道、授业、解惑”，把道德教育放到了首位。教书必先育人，英语科也不例外。在小学英语教材中，有许多礼貌用语，如：thank you! excuse me. sorry. after you.等;有教人拾金不昧的小故事;有发人深省的寓言;有宣扬团结互助的短文......我绝不放过这样的教育机会，除了句子、短文的阅读、理解教学外，更让学生去体会其中的精神。让学生在课堂模仿操练之余，也延伸到日常生活中去，成为个人的一种情操。如今，学生已将thank you! sorry. that’s all right.等挂在嘴边，文明有礼成了一种风气。
除了一般的道德教育外，我觉得英语还是最容易培养学生自信心的科目之一。刚开始学英语时，一部分人只会吃吃地笑，还有一部分人说得好像蚊子在哼哼叫。在老师的鼓励与诱导下，学生能够开口说，到大声说，不到半学期便能在大庭广众下卖弄自己的英语，这过程便是一个自信心的提升。我在课堂上极少批评打击学生，我更愿我的学生在我的good! wounderful!等肯定声中找到自我，从而信心百倍地去学下一句。
当然，在英语教坛上，我尚是一名新兵。在今后漫长的教学生涯中，我仍需要接受更严格的锻炼和挑战，不断学习，不断积累，为中国通往世界的语言桥梁添砖加瓦

很荣幸今天能站在这里跟大家交流一下英语学习经验。我的一些情况刚才主持人已经说过了，就不再重复了。直接进入正题吧。现在既然大家坐在这里，说明大家还是对大学阶段的英语学习有一定规划的，至少是有一些想法要提高自己的英语水平吧。我去年这个时候，基本上什么都不知道，对英语怎么继续学习也比较茫然，不知道你们现在有没有这个感觉。现在先说一些我在大一时的英语学习经历吧。
我是分在三级班，班里的同学一般英语都很强。读写课还行，听说课曾让我郁闷了很长时间，几乎每次上听说就很紧张。因为我课上比较沉默，不爱发言，正好跟听说课的主旨相悖。我的口语发音还行，就是感觉英式思维不是很敏捷，总担心对话时答不上来，脑子一片空白怎么办。记得当时对比挺明显的，班上很多同学课上表现非常积极，给我压力很大。但是，压力归根结底还是要化为动力嘛。我就每天起很早，去操场晨读。有句话叫笨鸟先飞，我基本上就是这种类型的，我把上课要讨论的话题先自己说一遍，上课的时候就反应比较快了。有一点好处，应对老师突然点名很有效。不过有的人说这样是不是有点假。但是我觉得，还是在于你怎么看这个问题。你花了时间，自己开动了脑筋，锻炼了自己的英式思维和逻辑思维，这个过程是在课堂还是课下，应该没有多大的区别吧，最重要的不还是你自己的speaking得到提高了吗。 说到晨读，我必须要告诉你们一个好消息，习惯晨读的同学加了英协可算是找对组织了。每天都有集体晨读还有权威人士领读呢，这一点真的很好。大部分同学应该跟我差不多，英语学了六年，几乎不放假的话每天早晨都有至少半个小时的晨读时间吧。你看现在，晨读的人很少，大家也会慢慢的丢了这个对英语学习非常有益的好习惯，真的很可惜。我的英语基本上是读出来的，我从来不去抄什么单词，或者大量的做英语题，我就是读。读的过程中，培养语感是肯定的`，还有单词啊，在语境中记单词我认为是最好的方法。就这样一直坚持着，自己课下多下一点功夫，课上老师要求怎么做就很认真的去做，也很好的利用了网上的学习资源。不知道你们现在英语课上过机了没有。个人认为视听说教程的outside view, listening in还有unit test质量是相当高的。你们可以去听课外的BBC,VOA，听地道英语，但一定不要忽视了我们已经有的学习资源，一定要好好利用。我虽然偶尔也会偷个懒，尤其是天冷了以后就不怎么晨读了，但是英语学习也没有忽视。这样，我的大一上学期就在对听说课的紧张和恐惧中度过了，不过期末考试包括口语考试成绩还挺好。应该是有一定收效吧。
下学期，开学不久有一个全国大学生英语竞赛。先是初赛，没怎么准备，因为当时觉得这比赛那么大自己也就是试一试。没想到获了一等奖，咱这个校区是有12个人，可以参加复赛。复赛分口试和笔试。当时看到口试我很无语，但既然已经有了这个机会怎么也得拼一下吧。我就每天早晨背四级口语考试题，穿插着再读读读写课的课文，记记单词，一直坚持到复试结束。复试之后获得特等奖。这个特等奖对我来说挺
重要的。因为在综合测评里面素质发展分决定最终获奖名次。我去年虽然是学习成绩第一，但是如果没有这六分，国家奖学金竞争就激烈多了。你看关键时刻英语还是相当重要的。还有以后的考研、出国啊，都非常重要，再想远一点，就是以后工作了，还是对英语有要求。所以现在不能把对英语的要求降低，没有像高中一样那么紧张的学习，就严格要求自己，不要等到那些高中的底子用的差不多了不够用了，才知道应该早早地重视英语。有一个常被人提起的现象，就是大学英语水平还比不上高考之前。如果到了这个地步，就应该好好反思反思了。
这个学期，我要考六级了，现在还没有开始准备，不过也得抓紧了。词汇量需要扩充不少。我刚在图书馆借了几本六级的书，晨读计划估计又要开始了。
这些大概就是我的英语学习情况了。我没从听说读写这些方面一个一个的说，感觉作为一个大二的学生，那些方法肯定说的也不专业不权威，就是简单的讲了讲我前一年英语学习的历程。这些你们也是要经历的。我只希望你们能从我的经历中吸取些经验教训，然后好好地去规划自己的英语学习，毕竟每个人的学习方法学习态度都不一样。最后祝愿你们在英协获得理想的进步！谢谢

today i’m very happy to be here to share with you some of my thoughts on the topic of globalization. and first of all, i would like to mention an event in our recent history. thirty years ago, american president richard nixon made an epoch-making visit to china, a country still isolated at that time. premier zhou enlai said to him, your handshake came over the vastest ocean in the world - twenty-five years of no communication. ever since then, china and america have exchanged many handshakes of various kinds. the fundamental implication of this example is that the need and desire to communicate across differences in culture and ideology is not only felt by the two countries but by many other nations as well. as we can see today, environmentalists from different countries are making joint efforts to address the issue of global warming, economists are seeking solutions to financial crises that rage in a particular region but nonetheless cripple the world’s economy, and diplomats and politicians are getting together to discuss the issue of combating terrorism. peace and prosperity has become a common goal that we are striving for all over the world. underlying this mighty trend of globalization is the echo of e. m. forster’s words, only connect! the rich and the poor, they say, globalization enables developed nations to swallow the developing nations’ wealth in debts and interest. globalization, they argue, should be about an earnest interest in every other nation’s economic health.
we are reminded by karl marx that capital goes beyond national borders and eludes control from any other entity. this has become a reality. multinational corporations are seeking the lowest cost, the largest market, and the most favorable policy. they are often powerful lobbyists in government decision-making, ruthless expansionists in the global market place and a devastating presence to local businesses.
for china, still more challenges exist. how are we going to ensure a smooth transition from the planned economy to a market-based one? how to construct a legal system that is sound enough and broad enough to respond to the needs of a dynamic society? how to maintain our cultural identity in an increasingly homogeneous world? and how to define greatness in our rise as a peace-loving nation? globalization entails questions that concern us all.
like many young people my age in china, i want to see my country get prosperous and enjoying respect in the international community. but it seems to me that mere patriotism is not just enough. it is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking and broaden our mind to bigger issues. and, there might never be easy answers to those issues such as globalization, but to take them on and give them honest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges coming our way. and this is also one of the thoughts that came to me while preparing this speech. thank you.

Reading is the easiest skill. It is also the most widely found English language skill amongst Chinese student, Writing is a more active skill than reading. However it is still a little easier than speaking, as there is plenty of time to choose the right words look in the dictionary for help, and make corrections. Listening is the third most important language skill to learn. It is far more difficult to listen and understand spoken English than to read English in a book or in a letter. Speaking English may be the most difficult of the four language skills. It is an active skill, and requires the student to put words together into sentences without much time to prepare, and with no time for correction, yet it is the most exciting skill to have, as it opens up wonderful channels of communication with people of others cultures and countries. But this is just what we lack.
More often than not I found some of the students who get high marks in their exams showed an inability to communicate with people in English. And this enabled me to understand deeper what my first English teacher has always emphasized: listening and speaking keeping ahead; reading and writing following up. I believe this is the rule of learning a language because we learn a certain language to communicate. As we conquered the most difficult parts: listening and speaking, we would easily master the writing and reading skills.

as we all know the english language more and more important in our daily study and life。why?because more and more people in the world speak english,because it is one of the five working language in the united national,and because it is used as the world language in the modern world。
i remember when i was seven years old,i wanted to speak english very much.。one day,a sister taught me an english sentence--good morning,teacher.from that day,i said only one sentence to the people i met ,"good morning,teacher."they all laughed. i was too young. i didn't know the meaning of this sentence.。but i also felt very proud of it ,because i could speak a little english. after i became a student in grade one in no.2 middle school , i learned many words and i could say many sentences. little by little,i found english is a very useful subject , because i could enjoy some easy english cartoon movies . i could trad english short stories and novels . i could also talk with my foreign teachers in english.
now i know , if i want to study english well , textbooks are not enough for me , because the world is full of new information。reading more out of class becomes so necessary. however , the most important thing is to speak english as much as i can.。just as my english teacher , miss zhang ,always says,"we learn english to communicate , to get closer to the world."

I'm XX. It's a great honor to stand here and express my personal opinions. The topic of my speech today is "learning methods should be suitable for yourself".
After reading the book "learn to learn and learn to be a man", I learned a lot of learning methods and understood the importance of learning methods through the small stories inside. But with good learning methods, everyone can say a few, and normal people can do it. Why is the achievement gap still so large? I don't want to repeat the truth. I just want to say what I think.
What I feel most is that the learning method should be suitable for myself. I am not a hard-working person, but I have always maintained good grades, thanks to the fact that I have found a suitable learning method. When I was just promoted to junior high school, my parents and teachers taught me that junior high school is not much more than primary school. I have to work harder. I began to devote a lot of time to study, spend a lot of time preparing and reviewing, and do my homework seriously. But I don't know why, I feel very hard. 英语学习的重要性众人明了，举国上下、男女老小都在学习英语！英语学习的目的是为了服务我们的生活、工作，但现在社会中的英语学习性质打上了形式主义的烙记，偏离了学习根本目的，也浸染了中国科举考试制度陋习烙印，要不得！学习了12年英语的大学毕业生对计算机中的专业英语陌生，怪不怪？不怪！因为中国的教育是从科考制度的历史中走过来的。
在某计算机社会培训学校，竟然还有人花大价钱宣扬“没有计算机英语，也可以学好计算机”的谬论：说这样话的人应该很懂计算机的，他自己计算机专业英语很好，他的这种愚弄人的言论是带有鲜明商业目的的欺诈宣传行为，大家一定警惕！
没有计算机英语，你看的懂dos下的全英文命令吗？
安装操作系统，没有计算机英语知识，bios你就没办法；
计算机操作系统、应用软件的底层开发编程语言文字都是用英语写的，没有计算机英语，你能学的好程序设计吗？
没有计算机英语知识，说去“从事计算机科学与技术研究”，那是一种搞笑！世界上最先进的科学技术知识，80%以上用英语记叙、传播的，计算机领域最先进的技术、理论都是用英语发表、记载的。
中国的计算机技术应用、理论研究与世界先进水平相比，有较大差距情有可原，但与发展中国家印度相比的距离产生的主要原因之一是：英语是印度官方语言之一，印度人在英语上占有了优越条件。我国政府、社会认识到了这样的客观现实状况，所以有了现在全社会加紧学习英语的局面。
如果你要学好计算机，就必须学习实在的计算机英语！
为什麼我们一再读文法、背单字，却因句型不熟而不能立即运用，总是背背忘忘，而无法学好英语。事实上，学好英文有三大要件：
（一）培养正确的语法习惯。
（二）训练用英语思考的能力。
（三）进行实际的会话练习。
练好基本功是学好英语的必要条件，没有扎实的英语基础，就谈不上继续学习，更谈不上有所成就。要想基本功扎实，必须全神贯注地认真听讲,上好每一节课，提高课堂效率，脚踏实地、一步一个脚印地，在大一、大二，同学们会开始英语课程，一是为了考过英语四六级，但更重的是英语已经渗透了渗透了各行各业，学习英语是必需的，计算机学院的学生更是有必要学好英语。
单词的学习是英语学习的基础：大家必须做到以下
一是持之以恒：每天坚持记忆一定量的词汇，过几天再回头复习一次，这样周期循环，反复记忆，需要注意的是，一旦开始，就要坚持下来，千万不能半途而废，切不可三天打鱼，两天晒网。
二是良好的记忆方法：记忆单词的方法很多，学无定法，但学有良法.我觉得在句子中记忆单词是个不错的方法.要想理解一个句子,就必须明白句子中每个单词的含义.看句子的时候首先理解句子中每个单词的.含义,然后就是对句子结构进行分析.这样一个小小的句子也蕴藏了很多的知识点.
三就是要背文章。我觉得背是为了让你更加熟悉句型，比如说和别人交谈的时候如果你有一句背得很熟的话。就可以脱口而出，不用思考，这就是背的好处，要多背范文,比如英语四六级的范文可以供你参考，这样有利于你早日考过英语四六级。
学习英语,培养兴趣最重要我们可以听听英文歌曲,看看欧美电影.但是我们并不是当成娱乐.看电影的时候电影最好是带英文字幕的,自己用心去听,先不要看字幕,看看理解多少.能把一部电影中每个句子都完全的理解,也是一种很大的成就.
同学们，大学生活刚刚开始，千万不要在无拘无束的大学生活迷失自己，同学应该知道，在软件程序开发的代码基本上英语写出来的，这样就决定了英语对计算机专业同学的重要性，大一是不让参加四六级考试的，但是作为大一的同学，你们有充分的时间去上自习，去做自己想做的事情，但是我知道大家的军训正在进行，大家会很苦、很累，但是大家一定要坚持下来，要知道：不经历风雨怎能见彩虹，军训过去之后，你们就会知道这短短的二十天会成为你人生中美好的回忆，同样也会成为你人生中宝贵的财富。
无论学习哪一门科学知识，都不会是一件轻而易举的事情，都必须有所付出，不劳而获不是没有，只是概率太低，就像你买彩票中得3.6亿元的大奖一样，你是不会成为那一位幸运者的，他比遭雷劈的概率还要低。对于学习，特别是英语学习，侥幸心理要不得，知识只有装在自己大脑里才会真正的属于自己，谁都抢不去！好好学习吧！合抱之木，生于毫末；九层之台，起于累土；千里之行，始于足下，大学才刚刚开始，你还有时间好好学习，要懂得把握，不要毕业后才悔不当初！

的确啊，提到这个问题，我也能理解大家的心情，看着那么多的单词，一篇篇陌生的文章，的确是很难，难道我们真的被它难住吗？依然记得我当时上初一的时候，第一次考试期中考试及
格了，那是第一次期末考试居然排名班级前三名，当时可高兴了。后来我哥，在上初二之前给我买了本课本辅导书，我也知道这是哥哥对我的期待，我好想痴迷了似的，我连续看了好几遍，每一个角落都不落下，现在想来真的要感谢我哥哥。
说到这儿，我要强调的`是，要培养自己的学习兴趣，英语学习对于我来说是一个非常有意思的事情，看到英文就有一种亲切感，真的。其实呢，我们会抱怨，说没有学习环境，没有好老师，其实不然，英语学习关键在于自己。大家不知道注意到了没有，现在生活中到处充满了英文，去商场购物，许多物品上都标有英文；路边的电杆上也会有英文；难道这不是英语环境吗？大家要做一个有心人，随时做好学习英语的准备。而这个习惯我也一直能保持到现在，对我很有作用。
我也很奇怪，这么多年的学习，我始终能够保持对英语的热情。现在想来，的确，英语学习好了，能够能给我带来信心与很多好处。每次你英语考试考得高，英语演讲赛，全国英语竞赛，同学们会羡慕，不知道大家有没有这样的感受？
现在大家都才初中，还有几年参加高考，或者中考，英语考试的重要性不言而喻。现在我分别从听说读写几个方面来给大家阐述如何学好英语。
听的方面，听就是要学习人家的如何表达，理解他人的意思，如何发音。我们知道现在中考，高考都逐渐加上了英语听力，而听力也占了一定的分数。大家现在都有电视，甚至电脑，是吧？
很好，这是重要的资源，如果有时间的话，建议大家可以去花上一段时间去听听，即使听不懂。你要相信时间的力量，时间积累够了，你一定会取得进步。我记得我上英语课的时候，每一次老师教我们单词，我总会认认真真的看着老师的嘴巴，看她如何发音，可好奇了，有的时候并不会，就在课本上注释，有谁也这样干？嘿嘿，现在我给大家一个建议把音标学会，自己就会发音了。
说完了听的方面，再来谈谈说的方面。依然记得第一次见外教，看着别人与外教交流，可羡慕了，自己什么都不会。现在我就可以与外教交流了，这也是时间的过程。当然你会说，老师我们现在考试不考英语口语，那怎么办？对，这就是我在说这一部分要给大家强调的经常读课文，把课本上的文章反复阅读，能够达到如痴如醉的地步。提到这儿，我不得不再提一下我初中的时候，那时候有早自习，每天早上我都会和同学一起把课本上的对话反复交换角色来朗读，这也是说的一方面。后来只要是课本上的东西我都很能清晰地记住在脑海中。又一次老师讲到了一句话，问大家在哪儿见过这句话，我就给说出在哪一个单元，那一课，呵呵，当时大家可惊奇了。
现在来谈谈读的方面，一提起读，我要问大家一个问题，大家多长时间阅读一篇文章？（互动可以提问，如果答案否定，自己圆场，说很正常，考试中才去读；如果答案肯定，恭喜他，鼓励大家要向他学习）
阅读呢，这是一个长期的过程，大家知道，罗马不是一天建成的，北京不是两个月建成。（用英语表达）刚才同学说自己没有阅读，那么同学们，从今天起，你要记住要大量阅读。同学们会问了，
老师我没用时间，嗯，同学们，记住，不要给自己的懒惰找借口。有位名人曾经说过：“时间就像海绵里的水，只要你愿意去挤，总会是有的”。同学们，并非要求你每一天去花上几个小时阅读，而是你要在每一天抽上十几分钟，几十分钟，可以是一片文字，也可以是几句话，总之，你必须坚持！明白吗？我就是这样坚持下来的，所以现在对于一般文章都能轻松理解。同学们，只要你能坚持坚持，我相信，到你中考或者高考的时候，英语阅读水平一定会有大的长进。而这里面的“坚持”二字也是我要强调的学习习惯。
提到写作，我先问一下同学，那位同学平时写英语作文呢？我想跟刚才的情况是一样吧？（可以互动，根据情况）中考，高考中英语写作都是占有重要分数的题目，难道我们就让他难倒吗？答案当然不是！那怎么办呢？一个字：练！怎么练呢？大家注意了，这个时候必须要回到课本上的话题，刚才我在读的方面已经提到，要把课本中的内容烂熟于心，恭喜你了，只要你能做到这一点，你的水平已经不差了。为什么要提到课本呢？这时因为课本是重要的写作素材。另外，在日常的生活中，一定要做个有心人，随时留意一些有用的句子，把它记下来，背住它，成为你自己的东西。
英语学习，这是一个长期的过程，它包括了许多方面，单词，课文，语法，句子，很多很多。就如盖房子一样，一点点累积起来的。但是大家一定要养成良好的学习习惯。如何在这些方面取
得进步，才能在英语学习中取得进步。
说了这么些，我的内心深处，已经燃起浓厚的英语热情。在以后的教学过程中，我会不断的给大家穿插进去这些理念，让大家有一定收获。大家要记住，任何事情不是轻易能够的到的，他需要长期的努力，要经过专业的培训，给予及时纠正和指导。
最后，要给大家说英语学习一定要培养良好的学习习惯，不懂就问，善于查字典，等等。
在最后，同学们，为了能够取得好成绩，培养兴趣，不让爸妈失望，难道你不想好好学习它吗？
