Unit 4 What Are You Doing? 一、单元内容分析 本单元重点学习现在进行时，学生对于本部分的知识比较陌生。因此，教师应充分运用肢体语言引导学生感知、理解现在进行时的含义。同时，联系旧知，让学生复习以往所学的动词及动词短语，通过比较动词原形及其v.-ing形式，引导他们总结归纳动词的变化规律，逐步理解并掌握现在进行时的用法。 二、学情分析 本单元重点内容为现在进行时，学习本单元内容前首先请学生们归纳、复习以往所学的动词及动词短语，为本单元的学习作铺垫。 五年级学生已基本能够达到听、说、读、写课本上的四会单词及句子，能够运用简单的英语句子进行交流，能够提出简单的问题并且作出回答。但还没有很好地养成用英语进行思维的习惯。 三、单元教学目标 1．能力目标 （1）能够简单描述自己或他人正在做什么，如：I’m answering the phone. She’s cooking dinner. （2）能够询问他人正在干什么，如：What are you doing? What is he /she doing? （3）能够听懂、会唱歌曲“What Are You Doing?” 2．知识目标 （1）掌握A、B部分Let’s learn、Read and write 中的四会动词短语和句子。 （2）能够听、说、认读A、B部分Let’s talk、Read and write 中的白体句子。 （3）了解字母组合：oo, ou, tr, tw 的拼读规律。 （4）理解Let’s chant、Story time、Good to know、Task time等部分的内容。 3．情感、策略、文化等有关目标 （1）培养学生的业余爱好，提高自身素质。 （2）培养学生从小爱劳动，增强学生的生活自理能力。 （3）知道本国和部分英语国家的急救号码，从而了解中西方文化的差异。 四、课时安排 6课时 第一课时 一、教学内容与目标 1．教学内容：Main scene Let’s chant A.Let’s learn Let’s play C.Let’s sing 2．教学目标 a．能够听、说、读、写动词短语的ing形式：drawing pictures, doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, answering the phone。 b．能运用句子“What are you doing ? I am doing the dishes/…”询问别人正在做什么并作答。 c．通过说唱Let’s chant 部分的歌谣巩固复习Let’s learn 部分的动词短语和句子。 d．学唱歌曲“What are you doing?”。 二、教学重、难点 1．本课时的重点是掌握五个动词短语的ing 形式，能够理解下一课时的主要句型：What are you doing 并能够用I am doing the dishes/…作答。 2．难点是：动词短语ing形式的读音。 三、课前准备 1．教师准备各种动词短语卡片、图片。 2．教师准备本课时Let’s chant, Let’s learn, Let’s sing的录音带。 2．教师准备锅、铲、电话、碗碟等小道具。 四、教学步骤 1．热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision） （1）Let’s do. Draw, draw, draw pictures. Read, read, read a book. Cook, cook, cook dinner. Do, do, do the dishes. Answer, answer, answer the phone. （2）Free talk （教师拿出动词短语的图片） T: Look at these pictures. I can draw.（并做画画的`动作）Can you draw? Ss: Yes, I can. T: I can draw. I can draw a fish. What can you draw? Ss: I can draw a book/a kite/…. T: We can draw pictures. 教师强调并带读 draw pictures 。 T: What can you do? Ss: I can sweep the floor/…. 2．呈现/操练（Presentation/Practice） （1）Let’s lean a．T: I can draw a fish. Now, I am drawing a fish. 边说边在黑板上画鱼，并强调I am drawing a fish now. 用彩色粉笔强调ing 。 鼓励学生做画画的动作，边做边说I am drawing a fish/a cat/an apple/…. b．（教师出示洗碗的动作卡片）T: I am doing the dishes. 知识拓展：I am doing the dishes. = I am washing dishes. c．用相同的方法让学生理解、认读：drawing pictures, cooking dinner, reading a book, answering the phone。教师注意学生动词ing 形式的读音，必要时多练习几遍，并纠正学生的发音。 d．T: What are you doing? 鼓励学生说完整句，如：I am doing the dishes. I am reading a book. I am cooking dinner. …教师板书句型What are you doing? I am doing the dishes. I am reading a book. I am cooking dinner. … e．教师播放Let’s learn部分的录音，学生边听边指边读，力争做到“眼到、手到、口到、心到”。 （2）Quick response 教师把本部分的五张动作的卡片面朝上贴在黑板、窗户、门、墙等地方，然后说一张卡片上的短语，如：answering the phone，学生迅速地指向该图片，指得又快又准确的学生为胜者。 （3）Chain game 教师出示本部分的动词短语卡片的ing 形式，教师提问 “What are you doing?” 一个学生A 看教师的卡片、做动作并回答 “I am…. ” 随后让这个学生A接着问另一个伙伴B “What are you doing?”，B根据教师手中的卡片来回答问题，回答问题后B接着问C，依次快速看卡片，做动作，回答提问。（A,B,C代表学生） （4）Let’s chant a．教师播放Let’s chant 部分的录音，学生认真倾听。 b．再次播放，鼓励学生跟读。 c．学生看书自己认读。 d．分小组练习说唱。 e．展示说唱歌谣情况。 （5）游戏：生活再现 教师给学生提供调色盘，电话，碗碟等小道具，教师问： What are you doing? 引导学生边做动作边回答：I am drawing pictures / doing the dishes / cooking dinner / answering the phone / reading a book. （6）Let’s sing（两只老虎的曲调） What are you doing? What are you doing? I am drawing pictures. I am drawing pictures. What are you doing? What are you doing? I am cooking dinner. I am cooking dinner. （7）Learn to sing: “What Are You doing? 3．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension） （1）Group work：Make a survey.(Let’s play) （2）学生完成课堂作业本中的配套练习。 五、板书设计 Unit 4 What Are You Doing?（I） What are you doing? Story time 2．教学目标 a．能用简单的语言互相通电话，询问对方正在做什么并作答。 a．能够听懂、会说：What are you doing? I am…并能在情景中进行运用。 b．了解Story time部分的故事内容。 二、教学重点、难点 1．本课时的重点是掌握句型：What are you doing? I am… ２．本课时的难点是培养学生在实际情景中运用对话的能力。 三、课前准备 １．学生每人准备一张白纸，自己制作锅、盘子等图片。 ２．教师准备录音机、录音带以及电话等道具。 四、教学步骤 1．热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision） （1）Let’s sing: What Are You Doing? （2）Look and match. drawing the dishes doing the phone answering a book cooking pictures reading dinner （3）Let’s try. 教师放该部分的录音，让学生完成听音选图。 2．呈现/操练（Presentation/Practice） （1）教学句型：What are you doing? I am… a．呈现 T：John is reading a book. Sarah is doing the dishes. What are you doing? 请学生在五张词卡中抽取一张，做动作并回答：I’m… b．教师板书，学生学说：What are you doing? I am… c．Make a phone 学生两人一组，每人在一张纸条上面写一个动词短语的ing形式，如：drawing pictures,然后两人交换纸条，分别将纸条卷起来做道具，根据各自手中纸条上的内容模拟打电话。 （2）教学对话 a．学生带着问题听录音。问题：What is Chenjie doing? What is Amy doing? b．学生回答问题后跟读。 c．同桌之间创编对话。 （3）教学Story time a．学生阅读故事并思考： Who’s speaking on the phone? What is Zoom/Zip doing? b．学生回答问题后，教师对生词稍加解释，学生听录音跟读。 c．小组合作表演。 3．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension） （1）做“小双簧”的游戏：学生两人一组，一名学生在前面表演动作，另一名学生藏在他的身后为前面的学生配音，如：I am drawing pictures. （2）学生完成课堂作业本中的配套练习。 五、板书设计 Unit 4 What Are You Doing?（II） drawing the dishes doing the phone answering a book cooking pictures reading dinner 第三课时 一、教学内容与目标 1．教学内容：A. Read and write Let’s play C. Pronunciation 2．教学目标 a．能够听、说、读、写句型: This is …. What are you doing? I am .... b、能用What are you doing? I am…互相通电话，询问对方正在做什么并作答。 c、了解字母组合oo , ou , tr , tw的发音规律及其例词的读音。 二、教学重点、难点 1．重点：What are you doing ? I am….的书写。 2．难点：句子Do you want to go to the Children’s Center ?的理解和朗读，以及字母组合oo, ou, tr, tw的发音规律。 三、课前准备 1．教师准备录音机和录音带。 2．教师准备一面红旗。 3．教师准备一幅画，画的内容为：图片的背景为活动中心的大门和房屋轮廓图，并写有Children’s Center的字样。中心内容为孩子们在儿童活动中心活动的情景，其中有的孩子在唱歌，有的孩子在跳舞，有的在打电子游戏，有的在打乒乓球，有的在画画，有的在弹钢琴。 四、教学步骤 1．热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision） （1）活动一：Free talk 教师鼓励学生将所学内容编成对话，进行表演。参考内容如下： ---- Hi, A.
