八年级上册第七单元A部分(3a-4)教案

Teaching Plan for Part 3a-4 in Section A of Book 8A(Page 43) I. Language points: 1. Words and expressions: finally, mix, mix up, popcorn, popper, boil, salt, add , add … to… 2. Sentence structures: First,…  Then,… Next,…Finally,…   Cut up the bananas.   Add some salt to the popcorn.   Mix them up. II. Language goals: 1. Learn to describe a process and follow instructions. 2. Learn to read and write about the process of making something. III. Grammar points: 1. Countable nouns and uncountable nouns. 2. Verbs used in imperatives. IV. Teaching aids: 1.  Multimedia CAI. 2.  Some fruit , some yogurt , some honey, a knife and a bowl(some scissors if necessary). 3.  Pictures of different things. V. Teaching steps: 1. Warming up: Play a game with the students and introduce “fruit salad”. Ask the students “Do you like fruit salad?” “Do you know how to make fruit salad?” Tell them “We’re going to make fruit salad today.” 2. Review the ingredients of making fruit salad. Find a helper. The teacher says the instructions and he/she follows the instructions.   3. Finish 3a. Have the students repeat the instructions according to the pictures on the computer. Ask several students to try . Give them a teaspoon of fruit salad as a prize .   4. Show another group of pictures . Talk about the pictures with the students. Teach the new words while talking. Ask the students to tell the partner how to make popcorn. One student asks and the other student answers .   5. Recipe game: Work in groups of four. Write down different interesting recipes . Then cut it up. Exchange the recipes and have the other team put the recipe in order.   6. Writing : Write an article about your favorite recipe to Magic Kitchen column in our school newspaper. Use the words given by the teacher.
