Teaching important points Let ss discuss the advantages of green food and know about how to make a poster clear and unique. Teaching method Reading, speaking , discussing and writing. Teaching aids: A computer, a projector, a tape recorder and PowerPoint, microphone. Teaching procedures: Step I warm up &lead in 1.Greetings 2.Lead in ask Ss: Q1.In your eyes, what is green food ?what green foods do you often eat in your daily life? Q2.Why is the food good to our health? Q3.If you have a farm, what kind of green food do you want to produce? Let individuals share their ideas. They conclude: green food is the healthy food that is free of chemical fertilizers. 设计说明:教师使用多媒体呈现一些绿色食品的绿色农场图片,吸引学生的注意力。并让学生联系生活,启发学生思考:什么杨的食物是绿色食品?为什么绿色食品对人健康有利?这些问题为下面的课文阅读和话题讨论做铺垫。 Step II Reading for information: (1)Let ss read the passage on page 15 and answer the following questions: What are the advantages of green food? What are the problems of green food? Make sure ss list the following points of this passage.
