Step3: Learn the new words. 1)  1)Give the 5mins to the students to pronounce the new words by themselves. 2)  2)Learn the new words together. 3)  3)Explain some important ones. wise---unwise reduce---reduction insist on meet each other half way bid price gap it is difficult to do sth. agree to     Step 4: Listening Practice 1)  Let the students listen to the tape and let them try to remrember the Chinese meaning of each new word. 2)  Let the students listen to the tape twice and fill in the blanks on P121. 3)  Check the answers with the help of the computer. 4)  Explain the difficult points. 5)  Let the students listen to the dialogue for the last time and answer the following questions on P190 5）Let the students listen to the sentences on P190and give responses to them. Step5: Oral Practice 1. Interpret the sentences onP191.(let the students finish the exercises with 15mins and then check the answers with the help of the computer) 2. Pairwork.(let the students work in groups and check the answers one by one.) 3.Situations(let the students discuss in groups within 15mins and then pick out some pairs to act the given situation) Step5: Summary Summerize the content learnt in this lesson.
