　　Environmental Protection

　　No one，regardless of race, religion or nationality, can deny that the world we live in is becoming increasingly intolerable because of the effects of global warming. According to many experts, even greater impacts are still on the way.

　　There are numerous causes for this problem. On one hand, human-related emissions of carbon into the atmosphere is causing, and will in the future cause, significant global warming according to the theory. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem.

　　It is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken right away. First, more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify the environment. Besides, stricter laws concerning global warming and irresponsible use of fuel resources have to be put into effect and achieved good results. In a word, there is a long way to go before we can take a comfortable world for granted again .

Thus, for individuals, they can enlarge their scope of knowledge, enrich their experience and adapt themselves to the complicated society. For another, it is acknowledged that the rehabilitation of Sinology can contribute to the establishment of a harmonious society.

　　In my opinion, all Chinese people should inherit the merits of Sinology. To do so, we can read books by ourselves or to attend lectures on this issue. 　　这次去欧洲旅游，我收获很多，其中有一点就是让我对学习英语的体会又深了一层。

　　去欧洲之前，我学英语时基本都是哑巴英语，从来不去大声读，发音总是不标准，而且学习过程中没有兴趣，所以虽然反复学但是效果不好，学习效率很低，浪费了很多时间。

　　在欧洲，我发现熟练掌握英语非常重要，无论是在旅游景点还是购物商场，英语总是通用的语音，在很多情况下，由于英语不好，不能准确地表达出自己的想法，而产生很多遗憾。在卢浮宫参观时，虽然有英文的讲解器，但因为听不懂，就不能更好的欣赏这个艺术宝库。在意大利，就连最简单的买冰激凌，由于不会用英语说“香草”这个词，也无法品尝更多地口味。这样的事情，几乎每天都会发生。所以在国外时，我就暗暗下了决心，今后一定要认真学习外语，熟练掌握好外语。还有一点，我看到外国人说英语时口型都是非常夸张的`，有时嘴巴张得很大，有时嘴巴撅得很厉害。我回想了一下自己的发音，说英语时口型和汉语发音差不多，口型不到位，发音自然也不会标准了。

　　有了这两点体会，我对英语的学习有了更多的动力和认识。回国后在假期里学习音标时，我开始大声地练习，丢掉了以前的不好意思，尽量的把口型做到位，发音慢慢地纠正过来。当然，今后我还要继续持久的练习，期待下次出国游时，我可以说的更多，听得更多！
