Teaching aims and demands(目标与要求): ※ Continue to tell the story about the mouse. ※Have fun with drawing the pictures. ※ Talk about the 38 kinds of cats. ※ Enjoy the song . ※ After singing the song, do an activity about it. Key and difficult points(教学重难点): Answer and draw Teaching preparations(课前准备):  Tape and some papers Teaching steps(教学步骤): 1. Preparation(准备) ① Let’s sing    Simon Paul, Simon Paul. Come and see. A big cat is sleeping behind the tree. We can sing. We can dance. We can eat the cheese. We can have a good time for he’s asleep.   (感受新歌) ②Sing after the tape. Guide the students to sing the new song after the tape.   (引导学生跟录音唱) 2. Presentation(呈现): ①Lead in(导入) The cat is so happy. Do you know why?  (设疑:老鼠为什么那么开心?)  ②Excellent Performance Ask some groups of the students to act out the story. (课堂表演:乡下老鼠进城记。) 3. Practice(操练): ①Ask and answer:   ----Do you think this mouse is a clever one?   ----Do you like a mouse?   ----Some people don’t like mouse. But I’d like to say: Simon is really a very clever mouse. He makes a lot of fun, too.   ----What can a mouse do?   (引导学生回答:老鼠能做什么?)  ②Pair Work(同桌活动)   The teacher guides the students to discuss it. (老师引导学生同桌间讨论)  ③Ask and answer Encourage the students ask and answer in groups (小组根据讨论内容做简短回答)  ④Look and draw ----A mouse can do lot of things. Can you draw a picture to show it? (完成课本第八部分:A mouse at work) 4. Production(产出) ①Let’s sing together Guide the students to enjoy the song again. ②An activity   Learn the song by heart. Then change some words and make a new song of your own. Can you try it?
