Unit 4 Its Warm Today 一、单元内容分析 1．本单元重点学习表示天气状况的形容词。重点句型是Whats the weather like today? Its rainy．Can I wear my...? Yes you can．No, you cant．A、B部分的lets talk 渗透了这几个新句型，是本单元的教学难点。 2．天气与人们的日常生活密切相关，因此要求教师注意收集表天气的图表以及各种天气情况下人们从事的活动形式，尽量多复现已学过的形容词和动词。 二、学情分析 四年级学生活泼好动，爱表现自己，喜欢直观形象思维，对歌曲、游戏等比较感兴趣。同时，他们的好奇心也很强。因此，要注意保护和激发其学习英语的兴趣，使教学目标在符合学生兴趣的任务活动中得以落实。 三、单元教学目标 1．能力目标 （1）能够简单介绍天气情况。 （2）能说出不同天气情况下该穿什么衣服。 （3）能听懂并回答一些问题，如：Whats the weather like in Beijing? Can I wear my new jacket? （4）会规范书写句子：Its warm today．Lets play football．Its cool．Is it cold? （5）会唱歌曲“Thunder”。 2．知识目标 （1）掌握A、B部分Read and write中的'单词和句子并能做到会听、说、读、写。 （2）听、说、认读A、B部分Lets learn、Lets talk中的单词和句子。 （3）理解Lets do、Lets chant等部分的内容。 （4）了解Story time、Good to know等部分的内容。 3．情感、策略、文化等有关目标 （1）情感态度：注重培养学生学习的愿望，鼓励学生参与实践活动。 （2）学习策略：注重观察、交际功能，学会观察、提问等策略。 （3）文化目标：了解世界主要城市的天气差异和谈论天气所具有的寒暄功能。 四、课时安排 6课时 Unit 4 It’s Warm Today第一课时 一、教学内容与目标 1．教学内容：A. Let’s sing 2．教学目标： a．能听懂会说本课的会话。 b．能听说认读本课主要单词：warm，cool，hot，cold，weather。 c．学会运用“Its cold/hot/cool/warm in...”, 要求表达准确，语调自然。 d．初步了解我国几个城市的气候特点。 e．学唱歌曲“Thunder”。 二、教学重、难点 1．教学重点 a．句型：It’s warm / hot / cold / cool in…. b．词汇：cold、cool、hot、warm、weather 2．教学难点：运用新学单词和句型模拟天气预报。 三、课前准备 1．一张中国地图以及本课时所需的单词卡片。 2．教材教学课件 3．教材相配套的教学录音带。 4．学生准备好四张描述天气状况的形容词卡片以及写有城市名称的卡片若干。 四、教学步骤 1．热身/复习（Warm-up/ Revision） （1）Free talk T: How are you? T:（教师倒开水开始喝)Oh, my goodness! It’s too hot! Please touch it, is it hot? Ss: Yes, it’s hot. 学生传递这杯水并学说新词hot。 （2）教学cold T: This water is too hot. I can’t drink it. What can I do? What’s she doing? 学生3-4人一组，仿照课文表演天气预报。Good morning. This is a weather report.(一起说)，然后每人预报两个城市的天气。 练习好以后，教师找几个组来在班里表演。 3．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension） （1）Sing a song: Thunder （2）做本单元A Let’s Learn部分的课堂作业本配套练习。 （3）试一试给同伴、朋友、家长预报天气，并建议他们穿上合适的衣服。用到句型It’s....
