摘 要
莫言在《红高粱家族》中以敢生敢死、敢爱敢恨的生命意识作为基调，写出了1群不无土匪习气却又除暴安良、抗御外侮的英雄人物。莫言以1颗悲怆的心，通过对美好却如“昙花1现”的生命的悲叹、生命力狂舞的赞扬和对生存的艰难与悲壮的悲悯，上演了1支支生命的舞曲和生存的悲歌，也表达了他深沉厚重的悲剧意识。莫言的悲剧意识主要来源于4个方面：外国作品的影响；童年的生活体验；农村与城市生活的对比体验；对生命力下降、“种的退化”的深沉忧虑。
